He refuses to take care of our mess of a yard, which I would but I’m feeling awful and throwing up constantly due to the pregnancy. He handles all of our money and he won’t renta dump trailer. I told him days before when we realized the previous sellers weren’t fixing up the issues we thought were the only ones I do not want this house and he pressured me into it anyway. This is not somewhere I want my children to grow up. The town we came from wasn’t horribly small and he could have had opportunities there but he just burnt his bridges with a lot of the work places down there due to being arrogant. My kids love there dad so I don’t want to take them away from them but I literally can’t stay in this city. At least not single. I hate it so much, I cry everyday, I’m feeling extremely anxious and depressed, I miss my family and I regret moving down here but he peer pressured me into it. I know I’d be able to find work easily if I moved back home and I’m heavily considering it. As much as we all love my husband he can be very emotionally abusive at times so I think that makes it worse. I really need advice and I feel like I screwed myself in the end because I feel like I’m not going to be able to move away from this nightmare because of the kids but as I said before crime is horrible here and we can’t afford to live in a nice neighborhood so this is not where I want my children growing up. I’m too afraid to even let them go play in the front yard. Yes we’re young and that probably plays into all of this but I just can’t stay here for much longer unless there’s some kind of drastic change also we can afford therapy with all of the baby appointments, new house repairs and the two current children we already have.

I just posted a rant and then thought about this and felt it warranted it’s own post.
My parents have been asking me when will I have a kid and pushing for grandkids. I’m married but my husband and I are both on the same page where we don’t really want kids and if we did, we would adopt. I’m scared of surgical procedures and the thought of childbirth terrifies me.
Recently, my brother became very ill and his kidneys stopped working. He’s 25 so he’s very young to be on dialysis long term. Well, he’s started to finally recover and the thought of donating a kidney came up as a possible option if he gets stronger for it. My brother and I should be compatible, same blood types, and I suggested I could try to donate my kidney if he is able to receive it.
This prompted my parents to ask why won’t I have kids if I’m willing to give up my kidney. I told them that the idea of childbirth is terrifying but then they question why I would donate my kidney to my younger brother if I was so scared of medical procedures. Well, because my brother has an established life and needs it to hopefully live a fulfilling life again. I don’t need to create new life and when there’s already others that need my help, amongst other reasons. I was met with “oh, you wouldn’t think that way if it was your kid. It’s different when it’s your own child!” Like? No thanks???

Even though this was a GBP transaction presumably from my Revolut GBP currency account, it considered it as being sent from my US Revolut account number. Is there a way to transfer from Revolut to my UK bank account so that its considered a domestic transfer and I don't get charged? I am especially confused because it seems like sometimes I get charged for international transfers and sometimes I don't, so i just want to sort out which exact account is considered the 'sender' on Revolut.

Hey everyone!
For context: - my eczema flared up quite a bit last couple of months - aggressively (and stupidly) used hydrocortisone to suppress my eczema - skin was super flaky too so I exfoliated every… day… rookie mistake, I know.. (used Dermalogica Milkfoliant) - I guess the combo of the thinning of skin and excessive exfoliating really compromised my skin barrier
Fast forward to today, my face has been red and inflamed (the swelling has gone down) for a week straight now. It looks like I’m sunburnt. I don’t think it’s eczema as it’s not itchy and parts of my face, especially my cheeks are sometimes smooth, sometimes feels like rough leather.
I feel like no matter how much I moisturise (humectants, emollients, you name it), my skin just won’t absorb or retain the moisture, and even if it is, it’s only absorbing a small amount. It’s almost as if the upper layer of my skin has a shield and is repelling everything. I wake up with my face CRUSTY. All the dead skin has dried up and sits on my face.

Problem 1: If you book a ride , you HAVE to first transfer money to their wallet. No other way.
Problem 2: As per their rules, if you send money to their wallet , it can’t be sent back to ur source account. No matter how bad they screw up.
Problem 3: If you try to book a ride and THEIR backend delays the payment, you’re stuck cause your booking gets cancelled and you can’t ask for your money back from the wallet courtesy of problem 2.
Problem 4: Their customer care just knows to copy paste 3-4 pre written texts and won’t bother to listen to u in the first place.

I won my school geography bee in high school, went onto the national geographic state geography bee, made it to the final round and lost. It's my lame claim to fame. I’m going to move to a new city for school with my boyfriend. With financial aid, my income, and my boyfriend’s income, I would be able to meet the income requirement but the property management is asking for cosigners. I’m thinking of talking about it with my friend to see how she feels about it first, but I realize it’s a lot to ask and fear how this may affect our friendship. I’ve never asked her or her parents for help in this way so I’m also nervous.
Some context, both of my parents passed away several years ago. I met this friend years after and we’ve become pretty close. I have had dinner with her parents multiple times at their place. I’ve gone camping with her and her dad, and have celebrated Mother’s Day and Thanksgiving with the three of them. I’ve been putting off gym time for months now due to complacency, laziness and just being self conscious of my “mom body”. I had been generally fit most of my life until I gave birth to my second kid two years ago (went from 125lbs to 165lbs). After experiencing a traumatic birth and needing blood transfusions, I lost myself for months afterwards and quite frankly allowed myself to wither away at home. The pounds have stacked on and my self esteem has rotted away! Thanks depression.
I joined my husband’s gym back in November but had only gone a few times. I knew this gym had boot camp classes but I felt too ashamed to work out alongside others. After a DR appt yesterday and stepping on the scale, I told myself “no more”. Woke up early this morning, got my toddler dressed and drove to the gym. Signed her into daycare and told the boot camp instructor I wanted to get involved in her class.
So here we are an hour later! I can barely walk, my form sucked and I probably won’t be able to move tomorrow. But Thursday is the next class and I’m bound and determined to get back in there💪🏻

A little about me. I feel like I’m a pretty happy person overall. I feel extremely blessed to be healthy both physically and mentally. Well my physical form could use some work that’s for sure lol.
So I’m a person who operates best when I’m in a relationship. I guess I should say I’m generally happier with a partner with me to just spend time with and go on fun adventures. It’s been a really long time since I’ve been single for any amount of time, was married 13 years and then had two long term relationships after that. Super awesome news, autocross is one of my favorite racing series out there. The French championship is one of the biggest in europe, so thats gonna be a blast. Autocross is like Rallycross but with Buggys. Seb will race on the top class (super buggy) where the cars are basically as fast as super cars. I think Timmy Hansen tested one in Estering in 2019 and laptimes were basically the same (less power but less weight too). The car he will be using is an Alfa Racing car used by Florent Tafani. That car won the European Title back in 2021. It is a great car! Cant wait to watch that... So rad! (Just for the curiosity, Mattvey Furahzkin raced a 700hp Super Buggy in 2021, in a race for the Czech Championship... That was crazy fast. He won the race, it was his first race I believe! ahaha These cars can be real monsters and theres not many rules around them, which is great too!)
