I (32F) have been seeing this guy (37M) for a little over a month. Things have been great but he said he needs time to be exclusive or commit and I’m not in a rush so we have just been keeping it casual. The only problem has been that I don’t want to have sex unless I’m in a committed relationship and he seems okay with it till last night. He’s going away on vacation (planned before we met) for a few weeks and we decided to have dinner and spend some time together. His flight was early this morning so I offered to give him a ride to the airport and he said okay. We had dinner, watched a movie and decided to go to bed. In the middle of the night, things got hit up and we started heavily making out but I made it clear I didn’t want to have sex. That set him off and he started yelling at me saying “why would you come to a man’s house if you didn’t want it?” “Why would you want go drop me off?” He thought i offered to drop him off so I can sleep over and we can do the deed. Thinking about it now, i know it was naive but I honestly thought i was helping him out and he didn’t have to drag 3 luggages to an uber. I explained my intentions but he was not having it so I asked him if he wants me to leave. He said he didn’t say that but he doesn’t need me to drop him off and I can do whatever I want. So I left at4am in the morning and drop back to my apartment. Can someone please explain to me what I did wrong? I can’t stop crying. I feel so humiliated.

I’ve experienced this since I was 17 and really started receding. Never really felt it in my 20’s but when I started using creatine in the last six months, I got that same sensation along with my shedding.
I know studies show that creatine doesn’t make you lose hair but I’m convinced it absolutely can depending on the person as well as other factors.
Sure enough I stopped and started up twice with the creatine in the last six months and both times within a couple of days of stopping I stopped getting that prickly feeling where my hair follicles are weakest.
I’m not gonna go back into creatine unless I ever go fully bald. Just not worth it. I like those extra reps and the extra endurance, but I don’t feel that’s worth it. I bet I can hang on to my hair for the rest of my 30’s.

 | I’m trying to convert my light switch to a switch outlet combo. The person at Home Depot told me that it’s a simple plug and play replacement. It’s turning out to be a big pain in the ass though. I tried putting the wires and different spots and kept getting different results. I bought a tester and made sure to find the hot and plugged in in according to the instructions. What’s happening is that the outlet works fine but the light stays off and instead turns a different rooms lights on and off. so she is a little bit just. transphobic and that plays a role in some of why she doesn’t like how i dress, but the majority of the reason she hates how i dress (when i’m not dressing pretty butch) is because it’s slutty, and women shouldn’t dress like that. i think it’s quite funny because i don’t actually wear all that slutty clothes - my skirts are mostly above the knee, and i often wear fishnets with them, but there’s always shorts under them.

Hi all, I posted this on facebook but I’m going to try here as well. Every time I have called the San Marcos Animal Shelter no one ever picks up or returns my messages. We have two stray cats at my office that we want to keep but one needs to be fixed. We were told a while back if we call the shelter someone can come pick her up to be fixed and they will also return her to us. I’m just not sure what to do since I can’t ever get through to them. Does anyone know maybe a different number I can try? Anyone else have the same problem trying to get in touch with them? I can take her myself later in the week but I was hoping to have her picked up today or tomorrow so I can monitor her the rest of the work week. Thanks y’all!

Had my first psychiatric visit today (I’m already in talk therapy just trying to learn what I can about myself to fix me basically lol) to get tested for ADHD and hopefully better manage my anxiety/depression/OCD. The psychiatrist asked me what my obsessions and compulsions are.
Mine feel like they’re more internal than anything, which I know is strange. I have some outside ones, like I’m really bad about cleaning compulsively, especially if someone is coming over. I feel like I have to have my house perfect or I’m going to be ostracized basically. I don’t count, or check things a lot, unless it’s an email/message/or remembering if I did something or not. Like did I shut my garage, etc.
The reason I am bringing this up, is how do you identify your obsessions and compulsions?

Just curious if anyone knows where I can find an explanation on how damage vs higher level mobs scales? My barb is level 69 currently and I’m starting to really smash torment but I haven’t had any significant gear improvements in nearly 10 levels now. I’m wondering how much of that is due to my paragon/small upgrades and how much of it is due to me actually starting to approach the monster level(73)? I’m guessing there’s damage reduction to higher level targets but my googlefu is failing me.

Aot gave me post anime depression syndrome. That’s how dangerously good it is in my opinion…
I miss the characters, as if I was in a broken relationship with them.
The themes make me depressed. The characters give their hearts to fight for a noble cause bigger than themselves. It’s hard to find that fulfillment in society today.
Along with the connection and comradery. I feel like I have a different type of love for these characters, Armin, Mikasa, Levi, Hange. We are bonded through oppression, hardship, loss.
Lowkey, it makes society today look as foolish as a sloth trying to run a sprint. We are sheltered in the comfort of our air-conditioned homes. We don’t have to hunt or grow our food, we just buy it at the grocery store. There is no eternal threat among us that we are fighting our lives for.
It’s depressing, but all I’m saying is emotional bonds are strengthened by stressful situations. Sure, moneys a problem, but it’s not necessarily life threatening. It’s so hard to find purpose in life, with so many things to choose from, and only a select few of those are making a small impact in the world we live in today.
I don’t know. Had to rant. As much of a hell on earth they live on, at least they have meaningful lives.

Fast forward to now, her ex returned for a few months to deal with some real estate items, and wanted some time with the dog, which my gf agreed to. He also wanted to get back together with her and have her sponsor his PR, which she declined doing as she is now dating me.
Out of spite due to her now having a new bf, the ex is refusing to return the dog and said he will give it to one of his friends when he leaves for China again in July.
Is there any legal ground my gf has here? Police? Small claims court? I’m not too familiar with the legal system overall. The dogs registered in her ex’s name but she’s been raising it over the dogs entire 3 year life. Paying all medical bills and everything. She’s currently devastated and I just want to give her some good news right now.
Any knowledge is appreciated greatly.

I don’t see many posts in this subreddit about being pregnant and dealing with HSV2. I am on daily meds to prevent an outbreak but still have wound up with what I believe is my first one this whole pregnancy. I can’t really remember what my first felt like but I’m assuming it was something along the lines of the pain I’m having now. Burning throughout my entire downstairs accompanying itching and just plain discomfort. No active bumps yet but I am still taking my meds just to try to combat what’s going on. I guess the whole point of this post is to see what other humans have experienced while being pregnant with this demon virus. We’re OBs worse? Better? Less common? Did you do a natural birth or was a C-section advised? I feel so alone with this all.

Before omeprazole (20 mg), the food would come back into my mouth and my throat would get really sore, with an ungodly amount of mucus. Since I have been on omeprazole, it has improved, but I still get dry coughs and mucus. I have a dry cough at the moment.
I have started lansoprazole (30 mg) today, and I am hoping these are more effective.
My voice is extremely weak as I am still getting LPR at the moment, and I don’t have range anymore, though I can talk fine.
I’m scared that I’ll have this vocal hoarseness and weakness forever and I’ll always sound like this which is making me feel depressed. I used to sing a lot growing up, and for the past 1.5 years, I’ve gone from having a strong (projection-wise) voice to sounding weak.
I just want to be able to sing again, it sounds silly I know, but when you go from doing something every day to barely being able to, it makes you feel a bit lost. The whole thing is getting me down.
