It's not creepy. I'm just appreciating a work of art.
Maybe you've had a man notice you and you wish he didn't turn his head away?
Or maybe you don't get noticed like you deserve to be?
Maybe you've wanted to tease a man and watch the hardness grow in his pants?
Maybe you like to wear skirts sans panties, and would stand over me?
Maybe you've wanted to cheat, sort of, without really, actually?
Maybe you've wanted to feel sexy, without sex?
(While we both have masks on. Double masks, even, because covid. Even if you're married.)
I want to find just one woman to, while in her chosen state of undress, would like a respectful and respectable gentleman to just be there close and observe... and moan and ogle and take in the beautify before him, while keeping his hands to himself.
Don't get me wrong, I really do like sex. And I'm not a prude. I just really like the feminine form, these are not times to be exchanging bodily fluids, and truth be told I wouldn't want to actually get physical with anyone I don't feel an emotional connection to first. (Yes there are men like that.)
Now, I realize a woman would be cautious about being so vulnerable with a stranger so I expect a lot of our initial conversations would be about placating your justifiable concerns. I'm all about that. A gentleman bears the burden of making a lady feel comfortable enough to proceed.
That said, based on experience with a similar post I tried from a now-deleted account of mine that brought no success, what I won't do is play games, converse with someone who won't tell me where she's located, engage in virtual play of any kind, or just answer questions while not being allowed to ask a few of my own. I'm sorry but I will block one-liners and incoherence.
About me: Not a creep! Really, women approach me in public to ask for directions and children approach me to help find their parents. I'm told I look "smart" and "presentable." I attractive enough to be noticed more when I don't have my ring on. Brown hair. White.
About you: No age limit either way. I guess I'm open to anything for this but in general I have been attracted to relatively more innocent appearances on the scale of things. As for race, I have mostly been attracted to Asian, Black, Latina, and white (in alphabetical order. And I suppose just because I haven't even been around a lot of Middle Eastern women?) Be at least somewhat attractive. If you're exceptionally attractive and you're used to men noticing you, or if you're not so sure and want the compliment of having me in a state of agonizing desire, this might be perfect for you. Especially if you're much younger or older and just want the appreciation with no contact.
Important: Obviously I don't mean just "check you out" while behind in line at the grocery or watching you jog by while you are wearing tight clothes, because I wouldn't need to post an ad for that. This would need to be in a private or semi-private space or some place that is so vast that we're so far from everyone that they won't wonder what I'm doing examining you so closely . Consider wearing nothing, yoga clothes, a swimsuit, underwear, etc. Just as obviously, I am not looking for an "online thing" or even talk about this with someone who isn't in the SF Bay Area or Northern California.

2023.06.06 17:43 indyman_123 How 'Malazan' is "sold" to a brand new reader (like me) around the internet... the factors that led me to ultimately start the journey... and some important advice for the first-timers before going in.
Firstly, I would like to thank you all for voting ,commenting, and sharing your opinions on my
previous post. That has really helped me in not only going ahead and trying to attempt and do the whole quick review / recap thing, but also to go ahead with a lot of renewed curiosity, interest, and energy into the series (and also hopefully try and NOT go into the "burnout" mode in the whole process of doing so).
Anyways, but before starting the above mentioned thing though, I would like to address a couple of things based off my personal overall experiences on certain stuff... way before I went ahead and picked up GOTM.
Please note that a few things have already been briefly mentioned in my previous posts and comments, but I wanted to elaborate on certain aspects of it, and even to provide some context to some of the things. How MBOTF / Malazan is sold to a brand new reader like me around the internet - These are some of the main and common things that I found out while searching for what the series was all about. Some resources describe the series in a more positive way, whereas some in a more less than positive way (negative is probably not the right word here I feel, cuz the resources are telling you why you should pick it up in the first place, rather than not to) -
- The series is very long, in fact one of the longest out there wrt fantasy / word count, and that it's still not complete. MBOTF is done (with 10 BIG books) by SE, but the 'Malazan World' as a whole has a lot more to offer, including NOTME by ICE (again completed; with 6 books), two prequels series, one sequel series, and a bunch of novellas. And there are more books on the way! So spending the time and energy for this is the reader's personal choice.
- It is also probably the most complex / challenging series out there. So start at your own risk. Especially if you're new to fantasy or haven't read too much stuff before. Also, you will not understand everything, SE doesn't spoon feed the readers in any way. So if you're into it, then only go for it.
- Not for everyone's taste too. That it tackles certain aspects in a much "rougher way" (violence, sexual assault, etc.), and that the author doesn't pull any punches in doing so. As long as one is able to manage their emotions wrt this, it will be OK. Otherwise, not for the faint hearted so as to speak.
- The writing / prose is pretty good, but again, not for everyone. It can get very confusing and difficult at times. Can also get too much philosophical at times, and as the series progresses, some of the books tend to drag on a bit. And the major underlying themes concerned are compassion, pain, grief, suffering, etc.
- The characters, although some very well written, do not quite come out as the best in the genre (writing wise). There are too many characters' POV to follow, and that can be challenging to say the least.
- It is more of a military fantasy in a way, involving multiple battle sequences, strategies, etc. and if you like wars, armies, magic, assassins, thieves, fantasy creatures, amazing places, some cool OP characters, even gods themselves getting involved in a much bigger game, you should definitely go for it.
- The worldbuilding is top class though, and the journey throughout is well worth all your efforts in the end. Many even stating that this right here is the most epic and best fantasy series they have ever read!
- Lastly, that GOTM is THE hardest of the bunch wrt everything. The writing, plot wise, character wise, understanding wise, etc. I f you can manage to push through it, you'll be able to get on pretty well. Also, to judge if the series is made for you or not, go through AT LEAST the first three books of MBOTF. If then you're into it, it's definitely for you. If not, you should probably consider dropping it.
Now, this is NOT to point fingers or to highlight anybody / any online resource, or community. This is just what I as a new reader found out and was informed wrt the series in general. There were some things to put me off personally like the complexity, length, etc. But there was plenty that I thought was right down my alley, and I would enjoy it very much (like deadly big hounds, lots of dragons, dinosaurs with blade hands, a short, plump dude who's funny and dangerous at the same time, some super cool powerful dude with charcoal skin and white flowing hair equipped with an even powerful sword, and so on. You get the point, right?). And thus, I went ahead and got GOTM as soon as I could!
Factors that led me to start the Malazan Book of the Fallen - Now, since the turn of the year, I've been greatly influenced by certain factors that propelled me into starting this journey - (in no particular order really)
- Malaztube / Booktube / Youtube - I know there are quite a few number of people out there who make some really good content wrt Malazan, but the following were the ones that I personally was hugely inspired by (again, in no particular order) - Matt's Fantasy Book Reviews, Iskar Jarak, Andy Smith, The Fantasy Nuttwork, Mike's Book Reviews, Daniel Greene, Petrik Leo, CREEDER, etc. [NOT promotional in any way btw]
- Artworks / Fan arts / Cover designs / Other graphical representations - These were genuinely the things that pushed me into starting the series even further. Some really beautiful and amazing stuff present out there, without question. Makes you want to read it for yourself, to experience it first hand!
- Articles / Posts / Websites / Other online resources - There's a TON of stuff out there, in-depth / detailed to such an extent that you wouldn't deem possible. All that and then some. Whatever you need, it's there. The amount of dedication, effort, and analysis for this series made me realize that it was certainly more than special, and again, gave me that final push needed.
- This sub right here - No cap / sugar coating in any way. I've been following / reading the posts and the comments since the past 2-3 months from afar, and was really surprised to see a well balanced community. Also was able to check out the various resources, related sites, and the reading companions, which again, strengthens the fact that there's so much great content and info. present out there thanks to the efforts of many people. So keep it up and kudos for that! The only slight disappointment for me was that the number of Bonehunters present were/are just a little bit lower than what I expected. Hopefully many more recruits on the way! But hey, quality over quantity, as they say!
All the above factors did a massive job in pushing me to start the series immediately. And without wasting any more time, I ordered a copy of GOTM (which was on sale luckily!).
Some VERY important advice for all the new readers out there - I absolutely had to post this, no doubt. Especially with my personal experience, I find it a kind of motivation to try and help / stop this from happening to the brand new audience. If you want to avoid being spoiled wrt anything and everything about the series before even stepping a foot into it, here's some words of advice that you might consider following -
- TOTALLY AVOID THE BACK COVERS / SYNOPSIS! - Two major spoilers were ruined for me while doing this. Now, I get that you are looking to know what is happening and what not, but avoid this. Maybe just go for the GOTM one since it'll be your first book to pick (even though you'd still be wondering WTH is going on and why), but that's all. No more. Rather go for Malaztube / Booktube / Youtube content which has non spoiler stuff. Those are very well explained, and won't spoil anything for you. Rather will make the basic gist of the series pretty clear so you can directly hop on the wagon. Lots of channels to choose from as well. Even some of the articles / websites will do the same for you (hoping you avoid clicking where you shouldn't be clicking in the first place!).
- AVOID GETTING INTO THE ARTWORK / FAN ART TRAP! - Now, I'm not saying this in a negative way, of course not. There are some gorgeous, amazing artworks out there, especially fan arts. But make sure you only go through the ones with a NO SPOILER tag / label. Otherwise, don't even glance at it. Some artists / fans don't have the tags or labels on their personal pages / bios. So watch out. I have unfortunately received one of the biggest possible spoilers while doing this. So tread carefully. You have been warned!
- ARTICLES / WEBSITES / OTHER ONLINE RESOURCES - There are really some GREAT stuff out there about Malazan (I really can't help but stress this point even more). But one wrong click, and chances are you might get spoiled, like I did. So again, only go for the NON SPOILER stuff.
- ABOUT THIS SUB - There's a reason there are multiple, well defined flairs present here. So out of curiosity and excitement, DO NOT click on any of the spoiler posts, let alone the comments. Even then, the spoiler part is covered by a grey patch. DO NOT click on it if you don't want to get spoiled. Things I've been personally guilty of, but luckily, didn't spoil anything major as such.
Can you see a pattern here with all the three segments combined?
Anyways, so yeah, that's pretty much it from my perspective. I have been spoiled certain big stuff while doing this the wrong way (even though I've been assured through this sub that there's still a LOT to uncover and experience. So it isn't going to slow me down in any way btw). So, I do hope new comers won't tread the same path, and rather go through it in a much more cautioned approach for an even better first time experience!
AND BREATHE! Still here, are you? Really? Well, I hope it was either somewhat useful, kinda informative, or maybe even helpful in a way. Let me know if I've missed anything, or should've left out, or anything else for that matter.
Cheers! Oh, and one last thing. I've come to gather that this sub doesn't shy away from long posts. Well, so how about a decent sized one for a start, eh? ;)

2023.06.06 17:30 hybreedsyndrome Stolen/Scammed Explorer 1016 from Chrono24 Seller
Hi guys, would like to share my horror story with purchasing an Explorer 1016 on Chrono24.
Early last year I was on the hunt for a 1016 and found a nice piece listed on Chrono24. The seller was Baier GmbH, ran by man who goes by Gabriel Baier, based in Essen, Germany. I am based in Singapore and have purchased online from dealers based overseas, so I’m quite comfortable with the entire process. Due to the high transaction fees and exchange rate, I decided to deal directly. He had several reviews and even one from Singapore. Chatted with him and I received proper pictures and videos (serial number included). Everything checked out so I did the TT and waited for the watch to be delivered by UPS.
So in Mar 2022, within a week after the transfer, I received th UPS parcel, signed for the order and paid tax on the spot. No surprise here, the watch was not inside the parcel. Of course I panicked and called Gabriel. Made a police report and spoke to UPS. Sent all the documents to Gabriel and he said he’ll liaise with the insurer, Parcel Broker. UPS did send a damage inspection team to physically check the parcel and deemed the parcel tampered in transit.
Fast forward about 4 months, Gabriel eventually told me that the insurer refuses to disburse anything, owing to the fact that I cannot prove that the watch is in fact stolen. I demanded for his correspondence with the insurer, but he refused to share anything citing privacy laws in Germany (?). After which he ghosted me.
Now, I know it’s mostly my fault for being too naive, thinking that nothing could go wrong. I blame myself for all this. But now the money’s gone and so is the watch.
I then engaged a lawyer in Germany to pursue this matter and Gabriel finally replied. But of course he discharged all liability, saying that he has the right to disregard this issue owing to some international e-commerce law. I’ve been following this matter for over a year and I’m seriously getting very tired of this.
What puzzles me is that if I was scammed, Gabriel did not have to entertain me after the TT was made. But he was so defensive during the entire debacle. Then in April this year, I found out that he’s no longer a seller on Chrono24.
Moving forward, I would appreciate if anyone could assist in any manner. The watch that I supposedly bought is a 1989 Rolex Explorer 1016, serial L216431. I would like to report the stolen watch to Rolex in case it goes in for servicing but I’m not sure how. Are any of those online watch theft sites any good?

2023.06.06 17:29 frostycab How the hell are you supposed to make any sense of insurance???
Been trying to sort out a new policy and it’s turning into a nightmare.
Kawasaki want to charge me £309.50 to renew. If I take off the legal cover and helmet & leathers cover it comes down to about £250.
Went online for quotes. The Bike Insurer website kicks out a quote with Bikesure for £185, so I call them to make sure all details are correct, and they tell me it’s the same underwriter as Kawasaki and I need to speak to them! So they transfer me over, I spend half an hour on hold while they check things before coming back and saying “Can we call you back?”
So I check with GoCompare this time and get the same quoted price again. This time I go through them to the Bikesure website. Price stays the same, but where I’ve selected a generic “Oxford Disc Lock” on the website, the policy summary says “Oxford Enigma Mk 2.” Do I just accept that and pay, or is it some sneaky ruse to make you call them and they’ll arbitrarily up the quote by 50%? Even worse, if I just pay can they then use that to weasel out a claim?
Why can’t I just get the damn price I’m quoted on the websites? Surely this has to be some sort of scam. Granted, most insurance is a scam, but still… It really does feel like they just pluck numbers out of the air, as it changes every time you look.
Anyone got any pro tips for navigating all this crap?

2023.06.06 17:12 hinfointech What is LTE and why is it important?: A Beginner’s Guide Save 2023
From understanding the basics of LTE to setting up your device for LTE connectivity, this guide has got you covered. Whether you’re a tech-savvy individual or a beginner, this guide will provide you with all the necessary information to use LTE in Hindi. So, let’s dive in and explore the world of high-speed internet connectivity in your preferred language!
What is LTE and why is it important?
LTE stands for Long Term Evolution and is a wireless communication standard used for high-speed data transmission. It is the most advanced technology available for mobile networks, providing faster download and upload speeds than 3G.
LTE is essential for today’s digital age, allowing us to stream high-quality videos, download large files, and browse the internet at lightning-fast speeds. It has revolutionized the way we communicate and has opened up new possibilities for businesses and individuals alike.
Understanding LTE terminology
To use LTE effectively, it is essential to understand the terminology associated with it. Here are some of the most commonly used terms when it comes to LTE:
- **Bandwidth:** The amount of data that can be transmitted over the network at a given time.
- **Frequency:** The rate at which the
network signals are transmitted.
- **Latency:** The time taken for the data to travel from the device to the network and back.
- **Mbps:** Mbps stands for Megabits per second and is used to measure the speed of data transfer.
- **Network coverage:** The area where the LTE network is available.
- **SIM card:** A small card that is inserted into your device and contains your phone number and other personal information.
LTE network coverage in India
LTE network coverage in India is expanding rapidly, with most major cities and towns now covered by LTE networks. The major telecom operators in India, including Airtel, Vodafone Idea, and Reliance Jio, have rolled out LTE networks across the country.
However, the coverage may vary depending on your location, and it is always best to check with your service provider regarding the availability of LTE in your area.

2023.06.06 17:06 Z-24Osmium Landlord changes utility billing in breach of lease agreement?
Location: Indiana
Long post, trying to give all information, including communications and relevant contract sections.
In short our leasing agency recently announced their intent to switch utility (water, sewage, and trash) to a RUB (Ratio Utility Billing) system where each tenet will pay for utilities based on their use of said utilities. Previously we were paying a flat rate of $65/month for these utilities.
Relevant Communications
Email from Property Manager 6/5/23
Dear Valued Resident(s,)
We will be switching from billing a flat rate for utility services to using a RUBs system. Please read this letter carefully, to familiarize yourself with the upcoming changes and what to expect.
What is RUBs?
RUBs stands for Ratio Utility Billing. The system is used to calculate residents' monthly utility costs based on the actual utility bills.
Why switch from Flat Rate Billing to RUBs?
Using RUBs allows the company to ensure we are charging residents fairly. By using a flat rate billing system, there is no way to tell if residents are being billed correctly. Flat rate billing can result in residents being under or overcharged for their utilities.
What to Expect:
Residents receive monthly invoices for their total charges via email and mail.
The invoice will include online account information, to allow residents to see their upcoming bill before the monthly invoice is received. Residents can also contact Conservice directly for any questions about their bill.
The 1st invoice will be sent during the last week of July. The invoice will include utility charges for June’s usage and payment will be due 8/1.
Flat-rate utility charges will still be due for June and July. Credits will be issued on the flat rates paid in June and July during the month residents are billed for June and July’s usage. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you,
----------------------
Follow up to the question "What utilities are you referring to?" Email from 6/5/23
Hello,

Thank you
Relevant Contract Clauses
Note: Our current lease (A) ends 7/31/23 and have signed a new lease (B) to 7/31/24. From the property managers email it seems we are having these charges apply over June (this month) and July, therefor, I will be including lease clauses from both year's documents where there are relevant changes.

1.10 Utilities (Lease A)
Tenant agrees to pay for electric and gas utilities and reimbursement of unnecessary or wasteful water usage. Tenant shall pay all costs of hook-ups and connection fees and security deposits in connection with providing utilities to premises during the term of the Rental Agreement. All utilities are paid by Tenant, either directly to the utility service provider or to the Landlord as a flat rate or a reimbursement based on any fair and legal method including per foot calculations and/or number of occupants in a unit.
In the case when Water, Sewer, Trash, and Pest Control are paid by Landlord, the tenant will be charged a flat rate or the service provider will invoice Landlord, and Landlord or Landlord’s billing company will allocate the resident’s portion based on any fair and legal method including per foot calculations and/or number of occupants in a unit.
Trash must be disposed of inside of trash containers or receptacles only. Failure to do so may result in fines. Furniture and mattresses are not considered ordinary trash. Furniture and mattress removal is at the sole cost of the Tenant. The city was almost unknown at the start of the century. It didn't have the vibe of Seattle's Boeing SeaTac, or the overwhelming might of NorCal's "Silicon Valley." In fact, it wasn't much of a city at all. But, after decades of investment, its become a small but incredibly influential force on the American West Coast.
It was Crescent City's peculiar legal situation which made it so attractive to industry. Due to reforms in the late 2030s, the Government had stewardship over a huge swath of land as "a sovereign territory within Northern California." Ironically, that same wave of reform in NorCal also pushed corporate interests to search for less restrictive jurisdictions.
At any rate, an extremely lucrative deal was hashed out with the governmental leadership: a special economic zone in Crescent City's port, heavily dominated by corporate interests. In exchange, an exorbitant yearly rent payment would be distributed to the city’s council, and corporate forces (they claimed) would help police on the remaining sections of the city’s land. NorCal, happy for the excuse to give the companies their own neoliberal playground, turned a blind eye to the whole affair. Cyberlibertarians flocked to the city for its lax laws on body-modding, drugs, guns, gambling and prostitution. Companies flocked to the city for tax purposes.
In a matter of years, undeveloped coastline became choked with skyscrapers. Illegal squatter communities formed in the barren, native highlands, away from the pressing control of the city. However, Corporate forces still regularly arrive to burn down encampments, and wasteland-dwelling rebels ride through city streets on jeeps or bikes. The city itself is a patchwork of high-rise complexes and immigrant communities, carved into expansive "corporate parks" created by rival factions. Heavyweights like Shuzuoka, Bryer-Stanley, and Nwajiuba can all be found there.
The so called “Red Zone” was a pleasure district, located in the heart of Crescent City’s corporate wonderland. It had sprung up in the late 2050’s, a new development that promised a world of pleasure, hedonism, and stress relief. New buildings, a monorail link to the Metro, it had been the hot, new development. It was the go-to place in town to get fucked up, and get fucked. Bars, body-modding clinics, tattoo parlours, strip clubs, and brothels were the norm, and it had a reputation for the particularly wacky and weird. It was also where I lived and worked.
The establishment I was working in was called Bloom, owned by the elegant and elusive Lady Sapphire, a former sex worker herself, who’s hard work had earned her an empire of debauchery. And she loved it that way. Her marketing has lots of Georgia-O'Keefe-style suggestive flowers, but in neon. Lady Sapphire’s Bloom was one multi-story building. Strip club on the ground floor and basement, the bar, club and discotheque above that, photoshoot and private rooms upstairs, and actual living quarters on the top floor. Bloom is a jack-of-all-trades: stripclub, porn studio, a tight-knit community for the women who work inside it. Everyone gets a vote and everyone decides on pay... but everyone knows Lady Sapphire is really the one in charge.
I worked there as a security guard, meaning I was always on the front line of wacky and weird. Out of everyone in the city, why did Bloom hire me as security? To quote Lady Sapphire: “One, you can take a punch. Two, you're not an asshole. Three... Indy thought you were cute."
I’d gotten the job when I’d gone to the Bloom with a friend after losing a bet. Supposedly it was a "consolation prize." Really, it was just an excuse for him to see some tits. One of the other patrons had gotten rough with one of the working girls, Indy. I didn't even have to think about it: I stood up to him, and when it escalated, I beat the ever-loving crap out of him. Lady Sapphire likes to say I "saved the guards some ammo" that day, and she wasn't kidding: when I had looked up, a guard already had a loaded shotgun in hand. Some of the girls patched me up and just like that, I was hired by Bloom as a bouncer...and more, if I was up for it.
—————————
The Metro ride is packed today: office drones in their starched collars and pants, studiously avoiding eye contact with anyone. Early birds in astonishingly spiky and skimpy party-wear.
The monorail rumbles four stories off the ground. A few tourists gawk at the windows, staring down at the huge, flashing billboards that run down East Avenue. It was intentional, Indy ahd explained one night, excitedly recounting a holovideo she watched on the city's urban planning. The rail lines got laid down first, so the corps could have stuck it right in the middle of the street if they wanted. But they wanted a monorail, just for people to gawk at the view. Increase the ad-value.
I stop at three or four different stations along the way. More partygoers. A homeless man with a long, empty face, trying to shush the yapping Chihuahua in his arms. One of the office drones thinks she's being real stealthy as she gives her coworker an over-the-pants handjob.
I reach my stop and exit into the Red Zone. Partygoers flood out onto the streets. Several of them stop to listen to a Mariachi band playing. The lead singer clearly has some kind of augmentation: he sounds like he's singing three or four notes at the same time, belting out a Spanish ballad.
Bloom is around the corner--four stories tall, plus a basement, with an animation of a huge neon flower opening and closing luxuriously. The smell of spices drifts to me from the kebab stand across the street. I’ve got two hours before peak time, when I’ll properly need to be on the clubfloor. Been working here two or three months, and I know the gig pretty well by now.
The monorail journey seemed to always be different, and yet always the same. Something was always going on, it was never the same faces, but it had become so routine that it all felt like an extension of the same ride. I rubbed my hands as I left the station, my hot breath fogging in the air. How the fuck did these people not freeze to death? Working in this district, I saw more tits, cocks and pussies in a half hour commute that any normal person would see in their life. But then, that’s the nature of the district that I found myself in. This was a place of pleasure; degeneracy, debauchery, and good old fashioned hedonism to its core.
I push past the queue of early birds, knocking at the door and getting greeted in by the previous shift, my thick, knee-length Black coat flowing behind me as I walked. I adjust my armour weave under my shirt, and check the handgun strapped to my thigh. If some fucker tried me, they’d better go for the head. It was warm inside, gentle synthy music drifting in the entrance hall, soft neon lights around. All flowers opening their petals in an almost far-too-obvious suggestive way. I catch a couple of the girls as I head to the lower security office to clock in. They smile flirtatiously, exactly as they always did. I couldn’t fault them or be mad. It WAS their job after all.
Inside the office was Garrett. The oldest, meanest, toughest son of a bitch the district had. You fucked around with Garrett, and you found the fuck out. Normally in an irreversible kind of way. I mean, MAYBE if you could afford cyberware, maybe it would fix it.
Maybe.
“Elias.” He grunts simply. I nod. “Garrett.” I swear the only time I heard this guy say more than one word was when he talked to Lady Sapphire. Then it would be like 5 words. At maximum. I clock in and turn to him. “Am I on cams, doors, or patrol tonight?” I ask. “Patrol.” He says again. I purse my lips. Happy fella, weren’t we?
“Alright. You probably know already but I think the vending machine guy is due tonight. And have you seen Indy? She had a surprise for me, she says.” He raised an eyebrow. “Nope.” He replied. I pat his shoulder and wink. “Helpful as always buddy. See you on the floor.” He slaps my hand away, and I chuckle as I walk out.
Patrol. Right. I start climbing to the second floor. I hear the screams of delight as the doors open downstairs and I roll my eyes. My voice is deep under my breath.
“Let the fun begin.”
———————————————
Well, that might be the longest stream of semi-coherent consciousness I’ve managed to get into one post. If you’ve made it this far, well done for getting through it. Hopefully you’re the kind of person I’m looking for, and hopefully the type to get the vibes and themes for what I want to play. Those who get it, get it!
Theme-wise, this is my rendition of the now classic cyberpunk genre. Corporate and liberal wonderland, gritty, drugs, body mods, alcohol, and sex galore. Everything turned up to 11, and maybe some more after that.
As eluded to in the wall of text above (sorry, I get carried away sometimes), I’m playing Elias. Elias is a young-ish guy in his 20’s, hired on the spot by one of the establishments in the pleasure district after an “incident” while he was visiting. He caught the attention of the owner, Lady Sapphire, the guards, and Indy, the girl working there that he aided.
For appearance, he’s a big guy. Standing at 6’3 with a muscular and athletic body, he is definitely a presence in person. He has jet black hair and facial hair, both kept short. Blue eyes, a wonder to look into (or so he claims he’s told). Most often wearing a long black coat and matching trousers and boots, with armour-weave underneath. In short, he looks like a more handsome version of the typical futuristic security guard. He talks shit, takes shit, and gives shit.
And what about you? Well, I’m open to you playing just about anyone that you wish! Will you play as one of Bloom's patrons, a woman with cash to burn, neon hair, and a will to let yourself free? Are you a regular, or here for the first time and guided by reputation? Will you play one of the girl's working there, a woman under my protection? Are you new or established? Have we met, spoken, even hooked up already? Do you like me or not? You could be Indy, the girl I saved the day I was hired. How has our relationship changed? Do you feel like you owe me, or that I owe you? Are you even still working there? Or maybe you want to step into the shoes of Lady Sapphire, the gorgeous empress at the top of it all. Do you want to thank me for a job well done? Offer me promotion as a personal guard? Or do you just like to fuck staff members now and then? I will leave how you look and what your personality is open to interpretation, as I feel it will be best for you to really make the character your own!
Kink-wise, I am quite open. Anything not explicitly listed in my limits below should be able to be worked in, provided you ask me about it. That being said, here are some of my favourites: Domination, cheating, seduction/dirty talk, sexy outfits/lingerie, rough sex, risky sex, creampies, giving and receiving oral, being deepthroated, face fucking, face sitting, making out, spit, impact play, anal, light restraints, and threesomes (FFM).
My limits are as follows: underage, being pegged, anything bathroom related, beast, vore, gore, and lack of detail.
Now, down the more boring admin stuff. This post took quite a lot of effort to write, and so I would really appreciate a creative and detailed response from you, if you are interested. I'm not asking for you to write a novella for a response, or even to match me, but one paragraph just saying you like the idea or "I want to play" just won't cut it for me, I'm afraid. Don't rush a response to grab my attention, as long as this is up, I'm still looking for someone to play with. You're far more likely to catch my attention if you really show me that you're interested! I typically write between 2 and 5 paragraphs in normal messages, and at the very least aim to get at least one response out per day, but I am normally better than that. I am also located in GMT timezone, and while I am open to talking to people from any timezone, please understand that I may not always be around. I try to communicate when I won't be around for a little while. I adore creativity and detail, even if it's weird or out there. In other words, go for it and ask me!
I am looking to roleplay ONLY on REDDIT. Yes, this is a dealbreaker. PMs (Orange Envelopes) are preferred, but chat will work if it's detailed enough. If you've made it this far, 1.) you're VERY appreciated, and 2.) please include your favourite flower in the title of you message so I at least know you reached the bottom. I am really looking forward to writing something with you here!
All the best, and I hope to see you soon!

2023.06.06 16:25 Aryeh987 Hindenburg Research Accuses Tingo Group of being just another Nigerian Prince Scam.
We are short Tingo Group Inc (NASDAQ:TIO) because we believe the company is an exceptionally obvious scam with completely fabricated financials. Tingo, headquartered in New Jersey, claims to have several business segments focused on providing mobile phones, food processing and an online food marketplace for farmers primarily located in Nigeria.
Tingo was created and run by "Dozy" Mmobuosi who is identified as a "billionaire" in the press and even tried to buy the soccer team Sheffield United. Dozy claims have made the first mobile payment app in Nigeria, but Hindenburg claims to have contacted the actual creator of said app who says that's a lie. Dozy further claims to have gotten a PhD in "Rural advancement" from a Malaysian University, but Hindenburg claims that said university has no one by that name in their register. Dozy was previously charged with 8 counts of writing hot checks in Nigeria in 2017 but letter settled the case in arbitration.
In 2019, Dozy claimed to have launched “Tingo Airlines” and posted social media messages encouraging customers to “fly with Tingo Airlines today”. Media outlets later uncovered that Tingo had photoshopped its logo onto pictures of airplanes. Dozy later admitted to never owning any actual aircraft.
In April 2023, Tingo’s Co-Chairman wrote a public letter resigning from the firm over many suspicious activities at the firm. Likewise, Tingo’s food division is half a year old, yet yet allegedly does over half a billion dollars in business every three months with fatter profit margins than anyone else making food... Despite having no food processing plant and instead the more dubious claim to be the middleman between ordinary farmers and an unnamed food processor.
Tingo likewise showed photos of a groundbreaking ceremony building a food processing plant, but Hindenburg those were actually stock photos of an oil refinery. Rendering even more dubious Tingo's claim to be building many things at once, and Hindenburg said they found overgrown weeds at the alleged sites. Tingo likewise announced securing 150 million dollars in funding for more building from a bank who said their account balance with them was zero. Likewise, there's an affiliated entity transaction with Tingo Group buying Tingo Foods for the cost of their inventory, but said inventory drops from their balance sheet without explanation, making Hindenburg think it never existed to begin with and the transaction was just to boost valuations.
Allegedly Tingo phone apps are servicing the same farmers that sell them food through two farming cooperatives, but Hindenburg said coops had never heard of Tingo and they had fewer than 100 farmers each. The owner of one co-op said flatly he had no relationship with Tingo who are surely just scammers.
Tingo claimed its mobile handset leasing, call and data segments generated $128 million in revenue last quarter (~15% of total), claiming these services are provided through an agreement with Airtel in Nigeria. The type of license they claim did not exist until June, 2023.
Our checks with the Nigerian Communications Commission showed it has no record of Tingo being a mobile licensee at all, despite company claims of having 12 million mobile customers.
Despite claiming to have millions of farmers using its phones, Tingo Mobile’s corporate presentation and webpage uses stock photos of farmers using phones.
Hindenburg said the small office of Tingo's they found had notices on it saying the firm was tax delinquent. When Hindenburg tried to enroll in a phone plan they were told that location was not operational yet. Tingo allegedly also has a Ghana section, but there are no records of the firm's existence in Ghana and their email, website, and phone numbers are defunct in that country. Tingo also claimed partnership with a local Nigerian bank, who explicitly and publicly denies any affiliation. Likewise, Tingo's alleged point-of-sale software is simply photos of other people's software with their logo photoshopped onto it.
However, truth becomes stranger than fiction when one realizes Tingo's sales projections exceeds the agricultural exports of Nigeria. And most of their website's links don't work and the testimonials are all fake. Hindenburg further claims they found no records of Tingo goods passing through Nigerian customs. In a classic among scammers, the financial reports have typos, math errors, and a note to itself that the accountant forgot to delete. The firm further claims to have been audited by an Israeli firm, which is strange since they do not claim to do any business in Israel.
Hindenburg believes Tingo Group is worth absolutely nothing. To be fair, this is both a fairly typical and a fairly sophisticated fraud for Nigeria, but the real question is how did this junk ever get listed on the NASDAQ?

2023.06.06 16:20 VeryGayLopunny Medical company may be charging me out of pocket under several false pretenses, unsure how to proceed.
When I set up a new patient intake with this company, they asked for, among other things, two items that would help in the future:
1) My zip code, so that I could choose which doctor near me I would like to set up an online appointment with.
2) My insurance company and policy number. My insurance, Highmark, is a regional chain that mostly covers a chunk of the New England area. They will not let you continue the application process unless your insurance is a company they accept.
I haven't been charged yet and am trying to get a response from customer service. However, after my first appointment, I learned a few things that have sent me on a frustrated and concerned spiral.
1) Despite my choice of a nearby New England region doctor who would likely fall under my insurance's coverage, they set me up with someone near their California headquarters without notifying me.
2) Even though I'd uploaded my insurance card to the app shortly following the appointment, this doctor sent me a bloodwork order that has my insurance company listed as Blue Cross, not Highmark. While Highmark is affiliated with Blue Cross, they're an independent company.
Given all of this, I am concerned that, once they finally do bill me, they will charge me for the full out-of-pocket price. I am frustrated since I signed on for the appointment assuming I'd be seeing a doctor covered by my insurance, but based on the information I have, I think the insurance policy they have on record for me is one that does not exist, let alone the fact that it likely doesn't apply for the doctor they set me up with.
If I cannot get the issue resolved by customer service and am charged out-of-pocket, how can I proceed? I'm aware that the doctor-location-swap situation would likely fall to my responsibility since I could have researched the doctor more carefully, but given that they've misconstrued my insurance info and allowed me to sign up for an appointment only to quietly change the appointment's terms, is there any legal action I'd be able to take?
Edit: Also, because I'm nervous about it -- would this technically consitute as fraud, and whose shoulders would the charge fall on if it did? How should I go about reporting this to ensure I'm covering my back?

2023.06.06 16:01 britmypears A huge change in numbers after the exchange of Gaszähler
Hi everyone,
I faced an unusual for me situation. I'm renting a flat. Gas contract is on me and I'm paying directly to Stadtwerke. Recently I've got a letter that old Gaszähler would be replaced. No actions from me needed. Today was the day. Yesterday I made a photo of a current state of used gas and reported it also online just in case. Today a Gaszähler was replaced. i wasn't asked to sign anything. After I decided to check and make a new photo and was shocked. Old number was 01583 m3, a new one is 20456 m3. There's no changes in my private cabinet on their website yet. Should I panic already? Shall I contact them or my landlord? I thought a new one should have the same number or 0, but I didn't expect that. Thank you for answers

2023.06.06 15:04 koola_00 Five Nights at Freddy's Danger at Home Chapter 6: Aftermath
It was only a matter of time before police officers and ambulances arrived.
Freddy had been deactivated prior and was thus taken away by local authorities for examination. However, the entitled woman was taken to the ambulance, her jaw nearly torn off, only barely hanging on.
While Freddy and the women were taken away, Carlton, Jessica, and Marla were checked on by the Chief of Hurricane's Police Department and Carlton's dad, Clay Burke.
"Hm. You really should be careful with what you say to others, Carlton. The worst you'll probably get is a small bruise," he muttered as he gave a small ice pack to Carlton. Carlton nodded.
"Yeah. Though after seeing what Freddy did to that poor Karen (something I'd never thought I'd say), I'd rather have a bruised cheek. I mean, damn; he tore that thing off like a machine ripping apart a watermelon," shivered Carlton. Jessica and Marla, who were nearby, groaned and shivered.
"Well that just was just unnecessary, Carlton," groaned Jessica.
"Yeah, really, man. Jason doesn't need to be reminded of that scene," added Marla as she held Jason close to her while Jason looked quite traumatized by what he had seen. Clay shook his head.
"I never thought I'd be apart of anything related to that damn company again after what happen ten years ago. Speaking of which, where did Freddy come from? Do you know who owns him?" he asked, a look of concern on his face.
The three teens searched for someone before Carlton saw Charlie walking back to them, holding Edward close to her.
"Oh, there's Charlie!" pointed out Carlton. The girls and Clay looked back and smiled in relief before they got up and got to her.
"Charlie! There you are!" Marla greeted. Charlie looked up and replied,
"Oh, hey. Sorry for running off like that. I-I don't know what came over me, I-I was-"
But Jessica placed a hand on her shoulder. Charlie looked at her, seeing a smile on her face.
"It's okay, Charlie. You were just looking out for Edward here. Speaking of which, are you okay, buddy?" she explained before looking at Edward. Edward looked at her and curled himself back, away from her. The three frowned, and Jessica backed away.
"Oh, that's right. You're still scared of me," sighed Jessica.
"Wait, Jessica. Don't-" Charlie began, but Jessica shook her head.
"It's okay, Charlie. I don't want to give him more stress than he already has. It's fine," she assured. Charlie and Marla frowned at this as Clay approached them.
"Ah, Charlie. It's been a while since I last saw you. How are you?" he asked with a small smile. Charlie shrugged.
"I-I could be better. I just…" she said, looking at Edward, who looked up at her. Clay hummed.
"I know. Is he with you?" he asked. Charlie nodded.
"I'm babysitting him while his parents are away in Dubai. Why?" she asked.
"Oh, I see. Well, I just wanted to know who's responsible for bringing that Freddy robot," answered Clay. Charlie frowned as she felt Edward shivering a bit. She gently rubbed his back as she answered,
"It was his parents. They volunteered for the Fazbear Funtime Service. They left by the time Freddy was delivered here."
"Hm. I see. Hey, Charlie, I hate to do this, but do you mind if I ask you a couple of questions regarding how you and Freddy?" he asked. Charlie nodded.
"O-Of course," she said. Clay nodded before looking at Edward.
"Um…without the kid, preferably?" he reminded. Charlie frowned but nodded. She then looked at Marla.
"Hey, can you-" she began, but Marla nodded.
"Of course. Come on, Edward," she cooed as Charlie began to hand him over. Edward whimpered, but Charlie looked at him.
"It's okay, Eddie. I've got to answer some questions, but I promise I won't be far. I'll be back before you know it, okay?" she assured. While unsure, Edward nodded.
"O-Okay," he muttered. Charlie smiled as she ruffled his hair before handing him over to Marla. Edward looked at Charlie, who smiled at him before Clay took her away.
"It's okay, sweet pea. Mr. Burke's a good man; he won't hurt Charlie or any of us," she assured as she sat back down, holding Edward close.
"Yeah, man! Plus, he's my dad, too. So, he couldn't, otherwise, my mom would, uh, kill him," added Carlton with a shrug, chuckling in his attempt to joke around. However, Edward was not in the mood to joke around. He was looking down at the ground. Marla, Jessica, and Carlton frowned while Jason scooted closer, gently taking Edward's left hand and squeezing it tightly. Edward responded by meekly tightening his hold.
"Edward! Edward!"
Edward blinked at a familiar little girl's voice. He looked to his left to see Cassie rushing to them. He watched as Cassie soon got to them.
"Are you okay?" she asked. Edward frowned and looked down.
"I-I don't know, Cassie. I…" he began, but he found himself unable to speak. Marla gently squeezed him in assurance.
"Cassie, sweetie. I-I don't think he's in the mood to talk right now," she insisted. Cassie frowned as she looked down.
"I-I'm sorry. I just wanted to see if he and Jason are okay," she explained. Jason and Edward looked at her, the former giving a smile.
"Well, physically, we're fine. But everything else…I dunno," Jason retorted. Cassie nodded in understanding before Edward lifted his head slightly.
"A-Are you okay?" he asked. Cassie looked at him and nodded.
"Yeah. I'm fine. Just…that was scary," Cassie replied, looking away. Edward nodded in agreement, and the kids remained quiet before Cassie looked at Edward and Jason again.
"I…I've gotta go. But I hope we can see each other again. Especially you, Edward. I like you," she said, smiling softly. Jason and Edward smiled back, and the latter responded by raising his left fist. Cassie giggled and bumped Edward's fist with his own.
"Bye, Cassie," said Edward.
"Yeah. Hope we see you again soon," added Jason.
"I hope so, too. Bye!" Cassie giggled softly before she turned around and sped off. Edward and Jason smiled slightly as they watched her before the former looked down, regressing to his thoughts.
Jessica, Carlton, and Marla watched the whole thing, and they had smiles on their faces.
"Well, I guess this day hasn't been all 'doom-and-gloom'," chuckled Carlton. Jessica nodded as Marla gently rubbed Edward's back.
"Yeah. Lord knows he needs it after what happened," confided Jessica, making Carlton nod in agreement.
Soon, Charlie returned with Chief Burke.
"*sigh* Alright. Now, you guys are good to go. But if you all notice anything, let me know immediately. Understood?" he instructed. The teens nodded in understanding as Marla got up. Edward looked at Charlie and immediately reached for her. Marla noticed and stood up.
"How's everything, Charles?" asked Marla as she handed Edward over to her.
"It's fine. He just asked questions about how Freddy worked, whether he had been acting strange beforehand, and stuff like that," replied Charlie as she took the boy before sighing. She looked at the crowd, who were starting to disperse.
"I should probably head back. This day got really sour and I still need to process everything that happened," she said. The others understood this.
"Yeah. I'm taking Jason back to our hotel for the same reasons," Marla explained as she took Jason's hand.
"I need to distract myself to cope better. Plus, I think mom needs help with housework," reasoned Carlton.
"Me…I'm just gonna walk around. I wish you guys well," finished Jessica as she looked at them with a caring smile. Charlie nodded as Edward looked at her, still unsure about her.
Later, Charlie returned to Edward's house, setting the boy down on the floor. She closed the door and sighed as Edward stepped forward. Then she looked at him.
"Hey, Eddie. How are you feeling, buddy?" she asked. Edward did not turn to look at her. He just looked down at the floor.
"I…I wanna be alone right now. C-Can I stay in your room, please?" Edward asked. Charlie raised a brow momentarily before remembering his room was filled with Freddy-themed merchandise. She nodded and placed a hand on his back.
"Sure. If you need anything, let me know. Okay, honey?" asked Charlie.
"...Mmhmm," went Edward before walking up the stairs, leaving Charlie alone.
"I-I'll be in the living room," she called out.
"Okay…" Edward replied as Charlie sat down. She looked at the spot where Freddy once was and sighed.
Vmm. Vmm. Vmm.
Charlie raised a brow and fished out her phone from her pocket. She then grew exacerbated as she recognized the phone number. Charlie then pressed the number and began talking.
"Good timing for you to call, Vanessa," she began sarcastically.
"I am SO sorry for not answering. I-I've been so busy with work that I never got the time to answer," Vanessa's voice emitted from the phone, sounding rather desperate and apologetic.
"Hm. What could possibly have been going on at work to make it more important than what's happening with the damn robots?!" asked Charlie.
"Ugh, look, it doesn't matter; I'm here now and can help with whatever you have. I've got your voicemail, and it mentions Freddy being able to move when it's not supposed to. Right?" asked Vanessa. While she was talking, Charlie was taking deep breaths to calm herself. When she was finished, Charlie nodded and gulped.
"Yes, that's correct. What's with that?" she asked. After a brief pause, Vanessa replied,
"Oh no," she began before Charlie heard incoherent mumbling as Vanessa seemed to have moved away from the phone. She had an eyebrow raised, wondering what Vanessa meant by that.
When Vanessa returned, she asked,
"Have you turned on the Controlled Shock feature while Freddy was deactivated?"
"E-E…Emergency mode?" asked Charlie.
"Yes. I told you that there's a button for the feature in Freddy's endoskeleton and that by turning on, you can use the Fazbear Funtime Service app to shock the robot into temporarily shutting down and forcing a reboot," explained Vanessa. Charlie blinked in confusion.
"Y-You never told me this," she reasoned.
"Yes. I did! Back when I first brought him here. Were you not paying attention?!" berated Vanessa.
Charlie's eyes widened as she realized; back when Vanessa first brought Freddy here yesterday, she explained how the animatronic worked. But she was so focused on Freddy being at the house…
"Shit," went Charlie as she ran her hand through her hair.
"Charlie. Did something else happen today with Freddy?" asked Vanessa. Charlie gulped and explained. When she was done, Charlie could hear a thumping sound, making her flinch her head back.
"Um, hello?" she asked. There was a shuffling sound before Vanessa replied,
"HOW COULD YOU LET THAT HAPPEN?! YOU SHOULD'VE PAID MORE ATTENTION TO MY INSTRUCTIONS!"
"I know. I know. I'm sorry. I just," Charlie went as she began to panic, wishing her friends were here.
"That woman may be an entitled bitch, but…ugh!" went Vanessa before the line went quiet for what felt like forever. Charlie winced as she looked at the ground, contemplating the stupidity of her not paying attention and how it cost her.
"Vanessa. I'm very sorry. I-" she began before,
"I know. It's not ENTIRELY your fault. The programmers at the company had spent half a year ensuring everything was alright. We had a problem with a virus a year or two ago, and we had it solved. But the animatronics do show signs of their 'quirkiness' for a lack of a better word, and we installed that feature in just to be safe," confided Vanessa. Charlie blinked in confusion.
"Yo-You've had this problem before?" asked Charlie.
"I-I can't elaborate more. Classified info, and I'm already risking my job by telling you. But yeah," Vanessa elaborated.
"Oh," went Charlie as she placed a hand on her forehead. After another short pause, Vanessa asked,
"You said Freddy's in custody already?"
"Yeah. Why?" replied Charlie.
"*sigh* I'm sure the company's gonna do everything in their power to retrieve it. Listen, just…just stay away from Freddy. With what you've told me, anything can…" began Vanessa before there was another pause.
"Uh, h-hello? Vanessa, are you there?" asked Charlie, straightening herself up as she grew concerned. After a brief period, Vanessa finally replied,
"Sorry. I spilled something on the desk; I have to clean it up. I hope you and Edward take care of yourselves."
"Uh, what? But you said something about staying away-" began Charlie.
"Forget I said that. Freddy's locked up; that's all that matters now. Just…take care of yourself and the little guy. Okay?" interrupted Vanessa. Charlie paused and grew unsure. But she nodded.
"A-Alright. Take care, and I'm sorry I wasn't paying attention," Charlie said. But Vanessa did not respond. She hung up while she was talking. With a sigh, Charlie placed the phone on the sofa and covered her face. Her hands then quivered as she began to whimper.
Shit, shit, shit…what have I done? Charlie thought as she sat by herself, sniffling.
Later, Charlie walked over to her guest room, knocked on the door, and went inside.
"Hey, Edward? Edward?" asked Charlie as she looked into the room, realizing that Edward's nowhere to be found. Her brief moment of alarm was, thankfully, diffused when she heard from beneath the bed,
"I'm here."
Charlie sighed in relief and went down on all fours to look underneath the bed. Edward was back facing her as he curled up in a ball. Charlie winced at him doing this as a memory from ten years ago came back into her mind when she remembered Sammy being so upset that…
I've GOT to stop thinking about Sammy, she thought to herself as Charlie reached forward.
"Come out of there, buddy. It's not comfortable," she instructed.
"But I wanna stay here. I'm playing pretend," replied Edward.
"Pretend? What are you pretending to be, or do?" persisted Charlie as she tilted her head in confusion. Edward did not reply. Charlie remained confused before she remembered the playground. She hummed as she sat down, back pressed against the bed.
"You know, Eddie. There's another way you can pretend you're in a safe space. More comfortable," she said.
"W-What?" answered Edward. Charlie hummed as she thought of an idea. She then looked down.
"If you come out, I'll show you," she insisted. There was silence for a moment before Edward could be heard shuffling. Soon, he slugged out and looked up at Charlie. Charlie smiled as she soon stood up and undid the cover of her bed. She looked at her and gestured to the bed. Edward looked confused, but he complied and crawled into it. Charlie took off her boots as she followed him, enveloping themselves in the cover.
"See? Comfortable, isn't it?" she asked with an assuring smile. Edward looked around, inspecting the surroundings. Then, he looked at Charlie.
"It's like being in a tent in a forest or jungle," mused Edward, and Charlie could see a faint glimpse of something in Edward's eyes. Something positive, it seemed. Smiling, she scooted closer to Edward, and that was when Edward looked at her.
"Miss Charlie?" he asked.
"Hm?" she asked.
"I…I'm sorry,"
Charlie blinked in confusion.
"For what?" she asked.
"You…you were right about Freddy. You said he made you uncomfortable. I let him inside. It's…It's…" whimpered Edward. Charlie frowned as she scooted closer and placed a hand on his cheek.
"Edward, no. Don't blame yourself for this. I-I'm the one who's at fault," she said. Edward looked at her, and Charlie continued,
"When Miss Vanessa brought him inside, she mentioned a feature inside that would stop Freddy from acting violent, as they had problems with that before. B-But I wasn't paying attention, and that's how you almost died, and that woman might never talk again. So the blame's on me. Okay?"
She cupped their hands together as she explained, her voice quivering as she held in tears. Edward looked at her, stunned by what she said. Charlie stared at him, holding in her cries. Then, Edward responded by tightening his hold on her hands affectionately.
"You were scared of Freddy," he explained. Charlie shook her head.
"That's no excuse. I…I needed to be more responsible. And starting now, I'm gonna do my best to be better," she explained. Edward looked at her, seeing the determined look on her face, before scooting forward.
"Miss Charlie. Promise me you won't leave me. C-Cassidy's hardly around, and Freddy…" he paused, looking down sadly. Charlie gently picked him up and placed him on her legs.
"Honey, put your ears on my chest. I want you to listen to something," she instructed. Edward did so, and he heard a rhythmic beating inside. He blinked as he gave a soft smile.
"I heard this before when mommy hugged me. She says it's something called uh…hmm…I forgot," he mumbled.
"It's called a heartbeat, Eddie. And you wanna know something important about it?" went Charlie. Edward looked up as he listened to the heartbeat.
"I don't know anything about a 'Cassidy,' and Freddy…well, that Freddy's a machine. But when you listen to this heartbeat…as long as you hear this heartbeat, I won't leave you. You can trust me," she explained as she held him close, gently rocking him sideways. She then looked down to see Edward looking at her with a hopeful smile, which warmed her heart. Charlie held him close, and Edward leaned into her body.
After a moment of silence, Edward looked up at her and smiled.
"You're the best, Charlie. Oh, I mean Miss," he stuttered, but Charlie placed a thumb on his lip.
"It's okay. If it makes you more comfortable, then you can drop the 'Miss.' I don't mind," she assured. Edward smiled and nodded before looking away.
"You're nice. You and your friends…including Miss Jessica," he replied with a slight frown. Charlie nodded.
"Actually, I've been meaning to talk to you about Jessica. She told me about what you told her and the others. Is it true that you're scared of her because of what your father said?" she asked.
"Mmhm. But after seeing how she was earlier, I…I don't know now," Edward admitted.
"Uh-huh. Well, Edward, I want you to know; while Jessica may have been a brat when she was little, she's an amazing person now. I've followed her online, and she's one of the sweetest, smartest, and most selfless friends I've ever had. She's also forgiving (mainly to those whom she feels deserves it), so the next time you see her, please give her a chance. Can you do that?" explained Charlie with a pleading smile.
Edward looked down and rubbed his nose.
"Will she let me? Can I still be friends with her?" he asked, unsure.
"Of course, baby. I trust her and my other friends, so I'm sure you can, too," replied Charlie as she gently booped him in the nose, making Edward giggle. Charlie laughed as well as she then asked,
"Are you feeling better now? Do you wanna come out of the tent?"
Edward nodded. Charlie smiled as she removed the cover, exposing them to the sunlight and making Edward wince briefly.
"Can we watch cartoons?" he asked.
"Of course. I think I have something in my mind that you're gonna LOVE!" Charlie said as she picked him up and walked out of the room.
For Charlie and Edward, this was a period of calm that they deserved. But they do not know of the storm coming their way…
AN: Hey, everyone!
Another chapter of this story is out of the way. It's a bit of a slow burner, but I promise; the next one will definitely pick up! Also, I made a change in this and the last chapter regarding one of the characters to accommodate the release of the Ruin gameplay trailer.
Speaking of which, we ate GOOD last month with the trailers for the FNAF movie, the Ruin gameplay trailer, and Help Wanted 2. Not to mention Scott's birthday yesterday (at the time of my writing this (Happy Belated Birthday, Scott!)), so this year has been good for FNAF. Looking forward to all of these future games!
Also, the lore reveals with the recent TFPP books…good thing I'm not too deep into this and my SB fanfics, so I can still adjust to them! Hehehe…
Well, anyway…that's all I've got to say! Hope you enjoy it, leave any respectful and constructive criticisms if you have any, and stick around for more!

2023.06.06 14:43 glasgowriter Flowers for Algernon: What happens to Celtic now Ange Postecoglu has left?
Daniel Keyes’ 1966 sci-fi novel tells the story of Charlie Gordon. Charlie is 32, has an IQ of 68, works a menial job in a bakery, gets teased by his co-workers. In a stroke of luck, Charlie is approached by two scientists, undergoes an experiment–already successfully performed on a mouse named Algernon–that slowly takes his IQ from 68 to a whopping 185.
During this period of enlightenment, Charlie experiences the highs of intellectual curiosity. But, just as everything is going well, Algernon gets ill and–spoiler alert–dies.
This foreshadows Charlie’s regression back to his original state. And, just before he loses his enlightenment for good, Charlie asks someone to put flowers on Algernon’s grave.
It’s a great novel, but a sad story. And it’s a story that has parallels with the goings-on at Celtic of late.
Seatbelts on? Then let’s cast our minds back to 2020…
The Botching of the Ten
2020/21 was going to be the year of years. That was when we’d secure ten league title wins on the trot, and gain bragging rights in perpetuity.
The only stumbling block, it seemed, was the raging worldwide pandemic. Coronavirus had cut short the previous season, and in order to keep the games going, clubs were forced into an eerie closed-doors environment - football a capella, without the cheers and jeers of crowds.
Some teams reacted well to the new normal. Some teams didn’t. In the year of years, Celtic looked sluggish on the pitch, and quickly fell behind Rangers in the most important of title races. Why so bad? Rumours of the board reneging on gentlemen’s agreements swirled; the virus created a growing injury list; the compounding effect of poor results drained confidence.
As the weeks went by– and the tenth title slipped further and further away– a defiant manager doubled down on his position. If the results kept going poorly, the manager would resign. He said so himself. The results kept going down. The manager didn’t resign.
Instead, he was ‘bitterly disappointed’ in post-match interview after post-match interview after dropping more points. His refrain echoed that of a doomed predecessor: Tony Mowbray–after a run of bad defeats of his own–said we would all just have to ‘take it on the chin’. But, as Tony found out, there are only so many punches you can take before your chin collapses. Things weren’t looking good.
Purses in fridges CSC
In the middle of all the chaos on the pitch, the board stayed mostly silent off it. When it did speak, it was only to back a beleaguered boss. Angry crowds gathered outside Celtic Park in ugly scenes. The gap between board and fans widened. The chasm hadn’t been this big since the ousting of the Kellys almost thirty years prior.
It got worse. While watching the ten melt away in real time, the manager was putting all our purses in the fridge and telling us we’d stuck them there ourselves. ‘The ten isn’t that important,’ he said. ‘You guys are too entitled.’ What?
Lennon resigns
Eventually, things reached a singularity. Lennon resigned, but it was way too late. We wouldn’t have eternal bragging rights after all. We’d have a summer to chew on the what-ifs, a couple of months to figure out how we were going to climb out of a right mess.
While we were still reeling from a triple-whammy of Dubaigate, Lennogate, Ten-was-never-that-important-anyway-gate, we’d convinced ourselves Eddie Howe was the right man for the job.
Fan speculation fed media conjecture which strengthened fan speculation, and the whole thing gathered a tail-eating momentum that sustained itself for an entire summer, without any confirmation from the club.
We’d also convinced ourselves we’d be getting a shiny new director of football, too, something we all nodded and agreed was a necessity; a safeguard against the sort of shitshow we’d just endured and were still slithering out of.
Fergal Harkin, a City Group guy, was floated as a potential candidate. Then it was somebody else. Actually, it could be this young Man City up-and-comer. At any rate, negotiations with Eddie were going pretty well behind the scenes. There was just the small quibble over his backroom staff, all of whom Eddie would be taking up the road. No bother Edward, you bring your mum if it helps; we need you now more than ever.
Howe no?
As the summer dragged on, however, Eddie (nor his mum) were anywhere to be seen. He certainly wasn’t draped in a green-n-white scarf on the steps at Celtic Park, giving a motivational maiden speech à la Martin or Brendan.
On 28 May 2021, the club released this statement:
‘Following very positive and detailed discussions with Eddie Howe, with the belief that he would be an excellent candidate for the position of Celtic Manager, we allowed time for the process, given he’d previously made it clear he was not looking to return to management until this summer at the earliest.
We can now confirm that Eddie will not be joining the Club, for reasons outwith both his and Celtic’s control. We wish Eddie success for the future.’
Instead, we learned, the board would be appointing *checks notes* Ange Postecoglu as manager.
This appointment–coupled with the failed acquisition of Eddie Howe–seemed on-brand. Were the club custodians actually saboteurs? As fans, what other conclusion could we draw?
The Experiment begins
In the wake of the managerial announcement, fans fired up their internet machines and looked to Japan for the first time since Naka left. Just who was this Ange fellow? Apparently he had managed a number of Australian clubs, guided the national team to the 2014 World Cup, and won the Japanese league with Yokohama F. Marinos.
FollowFollow and Rangers Twitter rubbed its hands with glee. Get ready for 56, they gloated.
They had a point. We needed a marquee signing to help us get over a disastrous season, and the board have cheaped out with some random Aussie.
Soon after his arrival, Ange’s compatriots flooded fan forums to pour water on the flames of indignation. I know it doesn’t seem like it now, they said, but you’ve caught a winner in Ange. Honestly, they said. Give him a while to settle in, and you’ll see, you’ll all see.
They promised even more riches in season two. That’s when Ange really gets going, they said.
Year two? It’s only day fucking two, lads. We’ve got a bunch of players who want to leave, and nobody has any faith this board can tie their shoelaces, never mind appoint a good coach. Cheers for the words of encouragement, but let’s suspend judgement.
The Enlightenment
The Ange experiment didn’t start well. We lost the first three league games, still had those wantaway players at the club, and were looking at the prospect of another long season ahead.
Footage of Ange directing training sessions appeared online. He told the players ‘we never stop’. It sounded like faux-motivational twaddle.
But then. Wantaway players got their moves. A Japanese contingent arrived to take their place, and it turned out they were all class at football. Games destined for draws became last-gasp wins.
The Aussies were right. Things were changing for the better. We never stop wasn’t just empty rhetoric. It was a philosophy stamped into a team playing their hearts out for a man whose system had transformed our fortunes in a short space of time.
In a blink, we’d won the league cup and regained a title. We never stop appeared on hoardings, on Twitter, on t-shirts. If the Aussies were right about Ange, then his second season in charge would be even better. All this seemed scarcely believable, just one year out from the worst season in living memory.
Today
Not even a week on from recording a world-record 8 domestic trebles, Ange’s second season in charge was better than the first. However, instead of enjoying unalloyed celebrations, we're mourning the loss of our manager.
The Regression?
Now Ange has left, thoughts will immediately turn to his successor. Who will we get? The longer it takes to announce his replacement, the more time there’ll be for the type of speculation that fans and media generated around Eddie Howe in the vacuum of concrete knowledge.
For me, the most pressing question is whether or not the board got lucky with Ange. Did they know he was a success story just waiting to happen? Or was he a third-choice gamble that paid off without their involvement?
Who knows. But if the board hasn’t learned from the disastrous 2020/21 campaign, then we’ll be in the same situation now as we were back then. The only difference is we'll be starting from a position of strength heading into the unknown.
In a way that’s much scarier than the 2020/21 season. That’s because 2020/21 was an outlier, albeit a painful one. It was a sliver of doom bookended by great success.
More than a club
In any event, now Ange has left we’ll do what we always do when heroes leave the club: we’ll continue supporting it. When Larsson left, it seemed like we’d never recover. When the 1967 European Cup-winning team dissolved gradually over time, it was heartbreak for the fans who watched it happen.
And now, as another hero leaves, it’s a sore one. But remember, no matter how much a player or coach professes to love Celtic–with a couple of rare exceptions–they’ll never love Celtic as much as I do or you do.
When you keep that in mind, it’s easy not to get swept away in the idea of everlasting players or managers.
Let’s just hope, no matter what happens, we don’t regress.

2023.06.06 14:36 IWantPositiveVibez Deregistered from GP and deleted records due to not attending for a long time
My mother was deregistered from her GP, we don't know exactly when this happened as she hasn't received any letters or phone calls. She's been living at the same address for 24 years and has had the same number for about 5 years.
Her last appointment was a couple of months ago for a blood test, she went back today for another appointment scheduled last month for a diabetes check up.
When she turned up, the receptionist told her she has been deregistered since she hasn't had any appointments for the past 2 years. We ran into this issue late 2020/ early 2021 when she wanted to get the covid vaccine. They stated the same reason " haven't had any appointments so we automatically removed you". They even deleted her records.
Looking online, the only reasons I can see for being deregistered are:
- Moving out of the area
- Being verbally and physically abusive
My mum is not an abusive person at all, she's 50+ and really friendly to everyone.
Is this allowed? The most concerning thing is that they deleted her records, booked an appointment and now she's deregistered. She has diabetes and needs treatment and medication. What can we do in this situation?
I'd like to add, this GP is a Modality partnership GP.

2023.06.06 14:27 nishasiyaramcreation Why social media audit is important for your business?
A social media audit is a set of techniques for evaluating and enhancing a company's social media profiles and tactics. Ecommerce businesses that want to keep track of their online presence may benefit from a social media audit.
Why is a social media audit so important?
A social media audit can assist your company in refocusing its social media marketing efforts on its goals. An audit will show you how well you're doing, what needs to be changed, what your future priorities should be, and how well your personnel are qualified (or not) to use social media efficiently.
Let me put it this way: we have our cars maintained so that we don't have any problems later on. Consider a social media audit.
The Benefits of a Social Media Audit
You can assess the consistency of your profiles.
With a social media audit, you may track data across all of your social media profiles.Because all of your profiles must communicate with one another, completing an audit allows you to assess the consistency of your different profiles across all platforms. It is vital to maintain consistency so that your audience does not grow confused about your brand and messaging. Consistency does not imply that all of your profiles must look the same, but they should all express the same vibe and information.
Use an online social media audit template to help you better understand your social media data and finish the audit faster. You'll receive a client-ready report with in-depth insights in no time.
To put it another way, we have our cars serviced so that we don't have any problems later on. Consider a social media audit in the same way.
Metrics show you how well you're performing on social networking.
Using social media auditing tools, you may obtain precise data on your company's online performance across all of your social media channels. Consider the following parameters:
People use social media to share, remark, like, view, and mention stuff.
The number of followers you have.
Important segments of the audience.
People with clout.
Metrics Can Help You Improve Your Social Media Performance
Put the data from the aforementioned metrics from all of your social media profiles into a spreadsheet or an online auditing template so you can compare them. With data in hand, you can decide if you met, missed, or exceeded the goals you set for your organization. You can see if your actions or inactions have an impact on the outcome of each goal. For example, the interaction with your material may have fallen short of your expectations. Using social media auditing tools, you can determine why this is the case.
Perhaps you haven't posted enough or have posted too much. Alternatively, your content may have been too commercial and impersonal to pique the interest of your intended audience. Use sentiment analysis techniques on social media.
You may check how your online business compares to the competitors.
Every company faces competition. This isn't always a bad thing. You can uncover why customers choose your company over another by doing a brand audit and comparing your brand to competitors' brands. A social media audit investigates how your competitors use social media to obtain new customers and highlights areas where you should focus more to attract new customers.
Examining your online presence
1. Identify all of the profiles.
Certain profiles will be easier to find if social media is well-integrated into a company's marketing plan. Even so, it's probable that a few have been overlooked. These are mostly profiles from lesser-known networks or platforms that were once popular but have since fallen out of favor. Businesses should look into Google Plus, LinkedIn, Yelp, Tumblr, Instagram, Snapchat, Vine, Periscope, and a variety of other social media sites in addition to the obvious suspects (Facebook and Twitter). Additionally, keep an eye out for job advertisements on websites such as Indeed.com and Monster.com. An Internet search will assist you in locating elusive profiles and identifying those that are not official.
2. Keep a journal of what you discover.
Create a spreadsheet to track each profile's platform, URL, who has access to it (including their positions, if applicable), and the number of followers it has. Keep track of how frequently each profile is updated, as well as how frequently viewers, both followers and unfollowers, respond to and post comments. Is regular updating more appealing to viewers, or do they prefer a limited number of updates? Viewer involvement can be tracked manually or with the assistance of a provider of social media stats.
3. Double-check that each profile is complete.
Examine each profile to check that all input options are filled out. The amount of information a business can post on social media networks varies (for example, Instagram allows for a website, biography, and profile image, but Yelp adds options for hours, location, and much more). This ensures that a company gets the most out of its social media profiles. Some profiles alter based on the platform used to view them; for example, Tumblr's mobile version features a header and color options that the desktop version does not.
4. Check for any discrepancies or deviations.
All profiles should have the same logos and names, and any colors used should be consistent with the branding.
Images, videos, and other material should be comparable enough to be related to each profile, but the unique aspects of each platform can be utilised.
Certain types of information perform better on different social media sites, and having some unique content encourages people to follow all of a company's profiles. Examine the content of each profile to ensure that it is consistent with the overall marketing strategy. Communication should be constant unless the message is platform-specific, such as a drawing only for Twitter users.
5. Think about the market.
Certain markets gravitate towards specific platforms; for example, Pinterest is dominated by women, but Google Plus is dominated by men. Ecommerce executives should investigate the market that each profile attracts and assess whether or not this market is compatible with a brand's goals and techniques. Examining the interaction between visitors and the posted content is also a component of this. Is one profile more interesting than the other, and why? What are the most effective marketing strategies?
In the same way, examine the tone of consumer feedback. Are they complementary, or are customers unsatisfied with the available product? Customer service should be extended on the internet, and complaints should be resolved as soon as possible.
6. Define your goals.
Now that the profiles have been built and reviewed, it is time to look ahead. Determine what is most important in the coming months and what may be improved. Establish explicit goals, such as increasing the number of followers, comments, or reactions by a certain percentage. Once the audit is completed, save the results for future reference.
7. Remove any no longer required profiles.
At times, a profile may underperform. The amount of followers or interactions may be small, or the platform may be unfamiliar. In this case, close the profile and redirect your marketing efforts elsewhere.
8. Identify any non-authorized profiles.
Unfortunately, a firm may come across false profiles made in its name. Making a note of these profiles and taking action to remove them. Sending a message to the creator may suffice; if not, read the terms of service, FAQ, or help section to discover what else is available.
Social media audits, while time-consuming, ensure that branding is consistent and online marketing is effective.
