Combat AI is fucked.
-Enemies and followers walk through/get stuck on walls
-Followers stare at me while getting stabbed(forever)
-Enemies say “What are you doing that for” and such friendly dialogue events occur at their death
-Followers fall behind constantly.
-Some bandits and The Forsworn give up. They call for help and run away then kneel down hands on head
-Followers and summons who use melee weapons having trouble attacking my enemies. They attack while an enemy is ten meters away
- So many wrong dialogue usages, SO many.(Compared to the old LO)
-Some enemies don’t even attack until i activate them (pressing E) and don’t detect me wearing heavy armor and no sneak skills.
I removed approximately 100 plugins, and started a new game. Including Immersive Citizens - JK’s AIO, Cutting Room Floor. None of the mods i removed had effect on combat/AI. (Other than ICAIO) Then this is what combat turned into for me.
These issues started to exist after a new save.
Mods that are popular and i use;
RDO USSEP(for 1.5.97) NFF Immersive Encounters Alternate Start - Live Another Life Ordinator, Apocalypse, Growl Audio Overhaul + Immersive Sounds
Checked all of the above list is up-to-date
The mods are here just in case. None of them i blame!
If there is a mod that enchances combat AI and up-to-date, please text it right away. I am having this headache since weeks

2023.06.07 18:43 Frequent-Rock-6210 My Bfs son is 10 years old, going to 5th grade and does not know it’s ABCs

My boyfriends son told me last night that he does not know his alphabet… I did not know how to take that in. Obviously I did not want him to feel bad so i said “okay well let’s learn it!” i told his dad, my bf, but he was in denial and did not believe me until his son brought it up himself again. I am not sure if i’m asking for advice or just venting but i find it crazy…
I make him read, he is passing school, but has difficulty and is on the lower grade scale every year. I’m not sure what else to do… I dont want to take away everything and MAKE him read because i’m scared he will hate reading. I do take everything away for an hour to make him read and it never goes smoothly. He always gives me a hard time. I tell him to shut the games down and read, color, play, and be creative but that doesn’t work either. I want to help him but i don’t know how.

Eyes

The device is designed to work with you comfortable at a distance
Eyes and hands are the primary inputs, but you can also use: voice, mouse and keyboard, gaming controllers.
To make apps comfortable for the eyes:
- Design apps to fit within the field of view
- Keep the main content in the center of the view, the most comfortable part for the eyes
Consider depth when thinking about comfort
- Keep interact content at the same depth
- Modals can “push” back the main window and take on the same depth
- Tab bars can overlay on top of the main content, indicating hierarchy
Avoid using shapes with sharp edges, as your eyes tend to focus on the outside of the shapes with sharper edges.
Minimum target area for eye selection should be 60pt. Use generous spacing in between interactive elements.
Use dynamic scale for UI, not fixed scale. When a user resizes a window with a fixed size, all content (including targets) will get smaller. This will make things harder to read and interact with.
All system provided controls highlight when you look at them.
If you use custom elements for your apps, user hover effects to provide feedback.
All search boxes, when tapped, will automatically use voice search.
No focus information is ever sent to the app (privacy protection)

Hands

Available gestures: Tap, Double Tap, Pinch and hold, Pinch and drag, Zoom, Rotate
Custom gestures should be:
- Easy to explain and perform
- Avoid gesture conflicts
- Comfortable and reliable
- Accessible to everyone
Magic moment: Zooming in on images will be anchored on the point at which you’re looking.
Magic moment: Drawing in FreeForm is done by looking with the eye and pinching with your fingers.
Since there is no haptic feedback, add additional visual feedback to convey interactivity.

2023.06.07 18:42 IllService1335 What engineering major has as little material science and structures in it as possible.

Hey, i need recommendation for an engineering or science major with as little material science / structural design as possible and a focus on computer science.
Im currently studying aerospace engineering (B.Sc) in the 3rd semester, but i am not statisfied with the content. My faculty focuses a lot on 1) Aircraft rather than space applications 2) Structure and Material which i am not at all interested in tbh. Furthermore my favorite module (computer science) was totally garbage and i didnt learn anything new.
Thus i am searching for a new Major that i enjoy more. I am generally interested a lot in physics in general, because i just like to understand how the universe works, but didnt really enjoy the way it is teached in engineering (Again mainly focused on structures) but i am also really afraid of a physics major because i simply dont think i am able to do without losing all my freetime thus i chose engineering thinking the application of physical theory would be easier than basically derivating the universe (which it was, but again it focused on the part of physics that isnt the most interesting for me).
My second interest is computer science, i like coding and have some experience in game developement ( i am a gamer afterall) and since i think computer science will dominate the future anyways it seems like a good idea. However i am afraid that i miss the physics part in it and that it maybe gets too dry for me.
So i the end i think the major should be focused on computer science but still have engineering in it. I enjoyed thermodynamics, fluid, kinematics, electrical engineering etc. but find material science and heavy machinery super boring.

I don't have the best set up for gaming but I'd like a GPU that can run most games with no problem. I don't strive for the best graphics nor 4K. My current VGA is an old 1080 Ti so I'd like to upgrade it with a budget of $500. I don't play the latest FPS like Call of Duty but I play a lot of strategy games like Total War, Starcraft 2, RPGs like Witcher 3, Elden Ring and MMOGs like Phantasy Star Online 2 NGS and Warframe and soon Diablo 4 and Armored Core 6. What would you guys recommend? (Preferably Nvidia card, just because I'm more familiar with it)

I do a lot of primitive hiking and camping in the Colorado rocky mtns, some of which is not even on designated, mapped trails. I also travel abroad a few times a year to rural areas. I'm looking for a GPS device which will allow me to plot (and label) coordinates when far out of phone service range.
Not looking for something with too many bells and whistles. Looking for something that will:

track and label coordinates (and potentially a rough trail map, though I could probably get by without)
work accurately in mountains and abroad
have decent battery life (several days)

Would this be possibly under $200? Do all of these devices require subscription services?

I am wanting to do a build with a RTX 4090 and 13th gen i7.
I need help picking out the parts to complete my dream PC that has the fastest DDR4 ram, fastest SSD using PCIE4, and a motherboard?
I am not sold on DDR5 ram or wanting the latest and greatest PCIE5 builds, nor do I really know much about it tbh. I have been looking at websites with high end build guides, but they all recommend these parts that, with my limited understanding, would not contribute much to a better gaming experience.
Not sure if this matters, but I like playing games such as Total War Warhammer 3 and Dead Space, and I do like higher fps and shorter load times (don't we all?)
TBH, I am waiting for the 14th gen intel CPUs to come out since they are not too far off fyi.
Currently gaming on a build with i7 7700k, GTX 1080, CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 3000

I have try to download Gold Rush DLC for NSMB2 with hshop. But no matter how I try, the game isn't detected the DLC at all. I can try Gold Edition, which included all of Gold Rush packs, but the fact that I have beaten the game make me feel its not worth it, to delete and re-install a game just to have some extra levels. Two questions: 1: Where could I found the DLC for NSMB2? 2: How can I install DLC for 3DS games, anyway?

So I've tried to break in to youtube in the past to little success. My highest viewed video has 123 views and was released a year ago. I have three videos in a row with terrible audio, the only saving grace being nobody watched them. Now that expectations are on the floor I'll get to the point. I am looking for one or several co-hosts to help me get off the ground. I'll get to the requirements in a little bit, but first a few things about me. I'm an aspiring voice actor, currently taking classes for it and view my channel partially as a resume and partially as practice. Which leads in to my second point I love doing voices. In fact I love doing voices almost as much as I love finding a shiny new mod for a game I like.

That mod comparison is important because I mostly plan on focusing on highly moddable games. My current obsession is Age of Wonders 4, but XCom 2 is also really close to my heart and I have fond memories of Fall From Heaven 2 for Civ 4, a game I have completely forgotten how to play. I tell you this because I want some one who has a keen interest in mechanics of games and how mods can turn them on their head. I also want some one who is curious in general and will ask questions about the game or point out interesting tidbits with surprising observations.
