About me: Heyo, I'm very passionate about love and romance. I love all things silly, cute, and colorful. I'm a huge videogame buff, from N64 to Wii U, Gameboy Advance to 3DS, is my area of expertise. I do a bit of PS4 and mobile as well. I'm super into youtube documentaries of all sorts: Corruption, Game Industry, History, etc. I like other types of videos, like let's plays, creepypastas, podcasts.
What I'm looking for: Preferably a lovely lady within the age of 18-35 for a monogamous relationship.
It'd be really nice to have somebody thoughtful, affectionate, silly, supportive, likes to spend lots of time together, communicative. Open-minded, really. Encouragement, support, affection, and love that goes both ways. Gameweeb/goob/clingy are huge pluses for me. Roleplay/cosplay is good too! I don't care about your job, status, height, weight, or anything else. I just want true love.
Ideally, you'd be assertive, but gentle or even strict. Not cruel though. As long as you're active in trying to do your best for your partner, that is great too. MDLB/GFD as part of the regular romantic relationship structure is a huge plus! For me it's moreso about soft, assuring loving and doting. About me: Heyo, I'm very passionate about love and romance. I love all things silly, cute, and colorful. I like vidya, memes, youtube, nature, singing, etc. I would adore something long-term and monogamous. I'm pretty handsome and cute. I'm a 5'4" smol, skinny boi. As the unstable meme stock has trended downward, retail investors have once again proven that they donāt know when to jump ship. The struggling retailer declared bankruptcy and was delisted from the Nasdaq in April 2023, only to reappear on an over-the-counter (OTTC) exchange. Through it all, stubborn investors have stood by BBBYQ stock, pushing for a short squeeze and ignoring the writing on the wall.
Now shares are rising today on news that Buybuy Baby, the companyās last valuable asset, has an interested buyer. On top of that, a prominent e-commerce leader wants to acquire Bed Bathās intellectual property (IP).
The retailer hasnāt commented on either deal yet, but one thing is certain; the vultures are closing in on what remains of Bed Bath & Beyond, and they are hungry. Letās dive deeper into what this means for investors.
Across the country, Bed Bath retail locations have been hosting going-out-of-business sales as they prepare to close their doors. Now it is more clear than ever that operations are winding down, just as the company said it would when it filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
According to the Wall Street Journal, Go Global Retail is set on acquiring Buybuy Baby, while Overstock.com (NASDAQ:OSTK) has expressed interest in purchasing the chainās IP. If it were to successfully acquire it, the outletās sources indicate that Overstock would shut down all remaining Bed Bath & Beyond locations. Buybuy Baby, on the other hand, would remain fully operational were it to be sold to Go Global Retail.
Even if Bed Bath & Beyond were to have a second life as a brand sold at a discounted rate on Overstock.com, it wouldnāt save BBBYQ stock. At this point, there can be no doubt that the company has failed. Not only that, but the attempts by the WallStreetBets crowd to create another short squeeze have failed as well, leaving a once popular company in the ashes of a shifting economy. Buybuy Baby could certainly live on under better leadership, but Bed Bath & Beyond will ultimately be nothing more than a name that older shoppers remember semi-fondly.
āUnfortunately, the value of Bed Bath and its underlying intellectual property is ambiguous. Per the companyās most recent quarterly securities filing, management disclosed that the āintangible value of trade names and trademarks was just $13.4 million.ā On the other end of the scale, court filings from late November reveal that Bed Bath held about $4.4 billion in assets and $5.2 billion in debts at the time.ā

This isnāt a fun post to make. Weād rather see memes about Naylorās baby or Joseās helmet, but alas, desperate times call for desperate measures. The mods here at ClevelandGuardians have been talking about what we want to do and what we feel is best for our community and, having discussed this at length, we have come to a consensus and feel this is a very important post that we hope you will take the time to read.
Recently Reddit has announced widespread changes to the API (application programming interface) which, if they follow through on, will shut down many if not all of the 3rd party apps that a not-so-insignificant number of Redditors use to access and participate in their favorite communities - Our small corner of the internet included.
One of the most critical changes to the API is that Reddit has announced they wish to move from a free to a paid API model, and at a rate that will result in expenses to the developers of the 3rd party apps simply cannot afford. To put this into a tangible context, Apollo, one of the most popular 3rd party apps for Reddit, is looking at a cost off $1.7M/mo. just to continue their current operations. That is a cost of $12,000 per 50 million API requests. By contrast, Apollo pays Imgur a mere $166 for every 50 million API requests.
In our case specifically, it means that u/CLEbot would not be able to perform its usual automated duties for us in delivering the content youāve come to expect and enjoy from our community. That includes posting daily discussion threads, gameday threads and in-game updates to the gameday thread, and postgame threads among other lesser-known duties. On top of all that, it paints a bleak picture of what is to come for those of us who use other tools, like Reddit Enhancement Suite and old.reddit.com.
We understand how this will impact you, as the Guardians will be kicking off a west coast road trip that week. We recognize how important this subreddit is to keep up with our team. However, we also recognize how important this issue is and feel we must take a collective stand on this issue to show Reddit that our voices must be heard.
Whether we want to like it or not, Reddit is a company that must make money in some way to afford us this corner of the internet we call home. Hosting this platform isnāt free, nor cheap, and ad revenue only goes so far. However, Reddit intentionally killing 3rd party apps by pricing them out of existence is not the right answer. We donāt expect Reddit to make API services free to all, but would expect those who run this site to be sensible and reasonable in how they choose to price their services and make their API data accessible.
Will this collective black out solve the problem? We canāt tell you that because we just donāt know how much of an impact this will have, but we have to try something to get their attention.

I am seeking advice from anyone who can relate in any way, but mostly need to vent because this stuff actually lays heavy on me.
So, I (28f) have 2 siblings. My older sister (36), and younger brother (26). My parents have been together since they were 17. However their relationship/marriage has been anything but exemplary. Lol. My brother and I have a pretty close relationship with my mom. When we get together its nice. We have become a little tight knit family and help each other out whenever we need it. My dad and my sister have sort of decided to isolate themselves from the rest of the family though. My sis is very much āthe black sheepā of our family, and my dad would rather just be alone. Speaking to him feels slightly awkward as he doesnāt really initiate conversation or express any interest in us. I feel like he might even be depressed, but because he has never really shown any true love for his family, none of us really bother to check up on him much. Still, I actually feel a little guilty for that too.

Then, after that it has just been nothing but no shows for the most part from both my sister and my Father. - My kidsā bday celebration held earlier this year; both didnāt show. - Easter family gathering; again. Both of them didnāt show. - My brother and his daughterās bday celebration; Our dad finally showed. Sister did not.
At this point, my brother is fed up of trying to include our sister or our father in anything. Both have shown that they clearly donāt want to be involved in anything we do as a family. Even when it comes to doing something as simple as texting them just to know how they areā¦ if someone else from the family doesnāt initiate the text, we will literally never hear from either of them. However, the only reason I keep insisting that we shouldnāt stop inviting her is because her children love spending time with us and all their little cousins. I have literally heard all of them begging their mom to bring them over to spend time with us. Not to mention that I have a pretty close relationship with my teenage niece (She kinda sees me as her ācool auntieā and closest family member).
Should I just let my sister be? Should I keep pushing this idea that we could all one day become one big happy family? Like, it literally breaks my heart to think about our children not growing up around each other. The very few times that we have gotten together as a big family, it was so awesome. Everyone was so happy. I think?
I really donāt know what to think of all this. Any thoughts or advice on what to do would be nice. Sorry if this became very long to read or hard to follow. I just feel so strongly about my family and my thoughts about them are so jumbled.

So, I (28f) have 2 siblings. My older sister (36), and younger brother (26). My parents have been together since they were 17. However their relationship/marriage has been anything but exemplary. My dad has always been very physically abusive towards my mother. I lived in one of those households where everyone feared my dad. Given my sister is 8 years older than I am, she witnessed and experienced way more in my home than I ever did in those short years before I was born. I have memories of seeing my dad beating my mom and sister on numerous occasions and for any reason. Sometimes it felt like he didnāt even need a reason. However, things in my household worked like a slinky going down stairs sometimes; where my dad would hurt my mom, my mom would in turn become offensive towards my sister and she turned around and was slightly abusive towards me. I was pretty depressed from an early age. For a period of time when I was small I truly felt like my family didnāt love me and I would often pretend to run away. My family found it funny at the time (I was probably about 5 or 6 when I felt this the most). My sis ended up leaving the house at 18, which was somewhat of a relief for me because she was always picking on me. A whole lot has changed since I was little. My dad is still a grouch, but he hasnāt hit my mom or anyone else since I was about 18. He grew up in a family that cusses a whole lot, and he remains that way to this day. But compared to all the physical stuff, words are just words at my parents house now. Iām sure anyone in that house would prefer to tolerate verbal abuse over anything else we have lived through on any given day.
It wasnāt until I was about 16 that my sister started showing more interest in building a closer relationship with me. Despite the way she used to treat me, it felt nice to finally have a good relationship with her. So we became close. She would let me in on the family secrets and gossip, and we would talk about our lives growing up. Eventually I brought up what she put me through as a kid in a conversation and she apologized. She also told me she had gone through the same type of conversation with my parents, where she confronted them for the way she was brought up. From what I gathered, there were lots of tears and apologies from both my parents.
Her family started growing pretty rapidly around that time, and as a single aunt I absolutely adored her children. She ended up moving to a neighboring city (about a 30 min drive), and it became slightly harder to visit her because of the distance. I basically went from being at her house every week- because she was about a 7 min walking distance away- to only being able to go over about once every 3 or 4 months due to the fact that our schedules hardly ever line up now. Sadly, I feel like we arenāt very close anymore.
Now to update you on more recent years; my sister now has 3 kids (16, 8, and 6). My younger brother has two kids (4 and 1), and I also have two kiddos (5 and 1). My brother- being 2 years younger- has always had the closest bond with me. We did everything together growing up, and now that we have kids all relatively close in age, we hangout about once a week or are in constant communication (we communicate through meme sharing on IG). Lol. My brother and I have a pretty close relationship with my mom. When we get together its nice. We have become a little tight knit family and help each other out whenever we need it. My dad and my sister have sort of decided to isolate themselves from the rest of the family though. My sis is very much āthe black sheepā of our family, and my dad would rather just be alone. Speaking to him feels slightly awkward as he doesnāt really initiate conversation or express any interest in us. I feel like he might even be depressed, but because he has never really shown any true love for his family, none of us really bother to check up on him much. Still, I actually feel a little guilty for that too.
Things havenāt really started to bother me about my family until recently. Almost two years ago I got pregnant with my second child. Then a few months later we found out my brother was also expecting a child with his wife. Everyone was excited and of course we shared this news with our older sister, and she seemed happy for us when we announced it to her. However, she was a complete no show for both of our baby showers with zero explanations. We tried not to feel sour about it even though we knew for a fact she was off from work on those exact days. Then fast forward to this past winter. I got married. The venue we had chosen was coincidentally down the street from her house, literally like a 2 minute drive. However, she only stayed at the event long enough for me to see that she was present and she just upped and left with her whole family almost right after the whole bouquet toss thing. According to my brother who was sitting at the same table as her and her family, she left without even saying a word. I also wanted to mention how my father was nicely planted on a chair throughout most of the reception, and didnāt talk to anyone at all. So basically I got a job at a place my friend (since high school) also works at. She requested me. She heavily prioritizes her work friends that sheās known for a few months, but thatās the least of the issues. First, she treats me like her little pet and even calls me that for fun. Sheās louder and more confident and Iām quiet and anxious. So she makes it known that Iām anxious and speaks for me and treats me like a baby. She might mean well. Itās irritating but Iāve dealt with stuff like that all my life so I donāt really think about it.
She wants me to talk and socialize with our coworkers not for my benefit, but for hers. She clearly doesnāt want to be associated with me if I make a bad impression and people know Iām her friend. She even invited me to a group chat for the job and I used a meme to introduce myself and she told me, āNO DONT LOOK LIKE A TROLLā, āOMG I SHOULDNT EVEN HAVE TOLD PEOPLE I KNOW YOU.ā She even tells me to say thank you to people in the chat when they offer to steal a shift and it pisses me off. Iām an adult who knows basic manners. Am I ruining your reputation? She basically shames me for being myself in the chat. Or just in person at work.
But now, Iām friends with pretty much everyone at work and make people laugh because I enjoy that. She looks irritated and makes (ājokinglyā) aggressive comments since sheās also funny and doesnāt like when someone else is funny apparently? Sheāll always find a way to bring the conversation to her. She makes comments and I know sheās saying things to work friends in order to skew their view of me. I can tell from her behavior. And to top it off, recently I submitted an idea to our work idea board. We can request ideas for the place. My idea was liked by the higher ups and now itās in discussion and may be implemented. I was so happy I texted her, and she says āI thought you were joking the day u told meā and then proceeded to tell me how my idea doesnāt make sense and that it sounds horrible and stupid and she canāt wait to see it backfire. Like it upset her.
Sheās been ignoring me more lately and bragging about how sheās āso popularā and hangs with people outside of work (she knows I have anxiety and slight agoraphobia so she usually rubs this in a lot). I know the big thing people will say is ādonāt be friends with herā but thatās easier said than done. Iām not sure what to say to her, or how to address it. Sheās irritating me big time. And sheās supposed to be my support since we both struggle with mental health.

So long story short, my party of 4 finally made it down to the Ritual Room with baby Walter. They absolutely decimated Mr. and Mrs. Durst, found all the lore pieces, and took everything very seriously but also had a lighthearted air that led to many laughs and great memes in the discord. It has all gone better than I could ever hope for.
They hit the "ONE MUST DIE" part and refuse to sacrifice one another, instead trying to find a loophole. Though it was going to be rigged, and they would have to fight/flee from Walter either way for flair. As an ex-theater kid, I am a very dramatic dm, so when I revealed Walter shambling from his nest of bones, THEY SCREAMED. Their faces were absolutely priceless. Unfortunately, we had to end the session there, so they get to fight him next time around. Now they are all excitedly typing in the discord, saying they will send Walter to behavioral therapy while another says she is going to put him in a panini press and eat him.
I love my players, and I think they love what I'm doing (I at least hope). I can't wait for them to get out of the house and find the lovely bottle of wine and gift basket left from Strahd, thanking them for such diligent work and removing the smudge on his land.

But the average person who might have occasionally watched their popular TLC show, 19 Kids and Counting, might not have known until watching Shiny Happy People the extent of the scandals within the family and the larger IBLP organization.
A community online, however, has been raising these issues for years. Their efforts take various forms across different social media platforms. The best known venue is DuggarsSnark, a āsnark subredditā on Reddit, an online forum dedicated to criticizing the family. Snark subreddits, which also exist for popular TikTokers, wives of major celebrities, YouTubers, and other public figures, are meant to foster a community of like-minded people who dislike a particular person or group of famous people or feel a responsibility to shed light on unsavory ways in which they are using their platforms.
Bryant creates informational videos on different topics related to famous fundamentalist Christian figures, highlighting what she considers to be hypocritical behaviors when compared to their professed values. She has videos that discuss Bill Gothard, the disgraced founder of IBLP, who has been accused of sexual harassment by former female congregants (which he has previously denied), as well as videos about Michael and Debi Pearl, a couple who wrote an IBLP endorsed-book about how to ādisciplineā a child by spanking or using a rod, and the Quiverfull movement, which promotes large families. When she uploaded her first video on the Duggars, it became her most popular video to date, with over two million views.
Bryant and the legion of devoted snarkers online have become unofficial watchdogs for celebrities and public figures in the DuggaIBLP case, trying to warn fans about the dark side of the content they are consuming and, as a result, supporting. And as her appearance in the documentary demonstrates, some of these self-appointed watchdogs are as well-researched as they are loud, holding real power to help challenge those with powerful platforms. Cori Stern, one of the producers of the docuseries, tells TIME that the filmmakers found online communities to be āinvaluable research resourcesā because, in some cases, they āacted like investigative reporters.ā
Outside of Fundie Fridays, the snark community has a wide reach online. The subreddit fundiesnarkuncensored has over 156,000 members, and the DuggarsSnark has 174,000 users. In an interview with TIME earlier this year, lead moderator Emily Rook said the subredditās primary goal is āsharing information and uncovering the lie that the Duggar family has put up.ā This objective to uncover the real person (or people) behind an online persona is an aim that many other subredditors share. For the most part, Rook says, snarking is not serious; a lot of it is just jokes. But there are moments when the conversations veer into serious territory, as with Joshās child sexual abuse scandal. Some members have found community there among other people with religious trauma or who come from extreme fundamentalist Christian backgrounds. For them, these forums serve as what Rook describes as a safe space for them to unpack those issues.
That unpacking is sometimes referred to as ādeconstructionā in these communities. Jen Bryant says that snark communities have become āa landing pad for deconstructionistsā to dismantle their religious beliefs and sort out their political views, and to some itās ābecome an entire movement.ā Their banding together to speak out against the autocratic rule of the IBLP is evident when the docuseries shows survivors using social media apps like TikTok to make their voices heard about the stringent lifestyles they led because of Gothard and his teachings.
