Ive just been shadowbanned for the 4th time since wz ranked came out (5 in total). I can't believe how stupid,retarded and dogshit this system is.I literally clapped 3 kids, they saw that I have 13 kills or something and I just watched them spectating me and I knew they were spam reporting and 20sec later - shadowban. This is just unbeliavably stupid..Ricochet ''ANTICHEAT'' is NON EXISTANT and people are literally cheating left and right without being detected WHATSOEVER, but their fix for their incompetence is by making it possible for anyone to ban anyone just by spam reporting? This is unbeliavable!

A few months ago i painted up some primaris reivers as ultramarines but i didn't do a very good job on them and i am currently wanting to repaint them but i don't know if im fine to just recoat them with some primer or if i need to strip the paint off first also if i do need to strip the paint can anyone give some suggestions on what to use(im quite a young painter only being 15 so something that would be easy to but would be helpful)

Basically the title. I’m looking for a new game I can commit to for thousands and thousands of hours, potentially forever. Previously, I put about 3000 hours into Team Fortress 2 and Warframe, and they served me well for close to a decade, but I’m burned out on those games and don’t plan on touching them again. Currently, I’m looking at Binding of Isaac: Repentance and Risk of Rain 2, but I’m not sure which of those would be better for me. I also want a second game with more permanent progression, though, but so far nothing’s really jumped out at me. I want something non-competitive, with basically infinite progression and replayability where there’s always something to grind for or chase, which I can pick up and play at any time regardless of whether I only have 20 minutes to kill or a whole day to burn, that’s fun solo (since I don’t have a dedicated group to play with). I’d like for it to also have shooter-esque mechanics if possible since I do play lots of shooters, but that’s not a must if the game is otherwise amazing. Nothing too expensive, either, because I don’t have that much money to burn on a new game. I’ll list some games below that people usually suggest, which I’m considering, and some thoughts I have about them. Feel free to give more insight, because I’d love to learn more, and thanks in advance for the help! Also, if anyone could help me decide between BoI and RoR2, that’d be fantastic.
Destiny 2: The natural next step from Warframe, but it’s just way too expensive for me.
Path of Exile/Diablo: I’m not a huge fan of these games because they look so grim and dark. Their combat also just never spoke to me.
Deep Rock Galactic: Looks fun, but has no progression to speak of. The game also seems to be heading in the same direction as Warframe, with feature creep and no real endgame, so it doesn’t seem like something I want to commit to.
Monster Hunter: World: The game looks great, but there seems to be a hard cap on how strong you can get, and I’m worried I’ll lose interest after that. I’m also worried about difficulty.
Factorio/Stardew Valley/Minecraft/Terraria: Factorio and Stardew Valley look like they’d be too stressful with their emphasis on optimisation. Terraria also has limits on progression and content. Overall, these games seem to revolve around starting new save files to provide replayability, and I’m not a fan of starting over hundreds of hours in.
RimWorld: The game just never looked appealing to me. Plus, having your colony implode 1000 hours in and starting over doesn’t look fun.
Borderlands Games: Much like with MHW, there’s a limit to how strong you can get, and only so much content to experience.
Disgaea/Siralim Ultimate: I don’t really play turn-based games, but if something like them in a shooter form existed, I’d be over the moon. They look interesting, though.
BoI + RoR2: Like I said earlier, I’m looking to get one of these alongside something else, but I’m not sure which would be better. RoR2 is a shooter which is nice, but BoI seems to offer more replayability, and looks better for pick-up-and-play sessions since RoR2 doesn’t allow you to save and quit.
Again, none of these games are off the table, I’m actually considering them, I just want to learn more. I’m fully open to having my mind changed, and if you’re able to sell me on a game you’ve personally played for an ungodly amount of time, that’d be fantastic. Thanks in advance!

I tried the 1v1 only Guns Mission for the F15C and either got Shot down or (what happened Most of the time) Ran out of fuel. I only managed to kill the Bandit like 2 or 3 Times. My tactic was to get a high velocity and use it to Turn but the Bandit Always Turned faster than me. What could be the Problem?

I am 23F about to graduate with my accounting degree.
I have started my CPA and am applying for MBA with a specialisation in finance (part time). Note: The university I am applying to has already advised that I exceed the requirements for their MBA program in terms of full time work experience, etc. I am just awaiting my graduation confirmation to send through.

• My future career goals are to hold management position/s in the finance or asset management space.
• I believe my CPA will be valuable in helping me have a foundation upon which to further grow my career. Also - currently changing jobs and many prospective employers support the CPA in terms of financial support towards the units as well.

Basically - Not willing to negotiate on my CPA. :)

• Many people have given me their unsolicited opinions about the MBA in particular, saying I'm too young, etc. and it is making me feel a little bit unsure about myself.
• My soon-to-be husband and I are planning to have children in the next 3-5 years so I can't foresee any real opportunities in the next 5-15 years where I would be remotely bothered to pursue my MBA after now.
• I am in "study mode" and am quite studious, I have gotten very good at balancing my studies with full time work, so I don't think I would struggle to complete one MBA subject per semester (2-3 per year for 2 years) on top of one CPA subject per semester (2 per year for 3 years).
• I should hopefully be eligible for a scholarship for my MBA (not guaranteed), at the very least, it will be on HECS... Not a major factor for me but it will cost approx $40K assuming I don't get any scholarships
• Some people have suggested that I complete my CFA to be a certified financial analyst. It's something I have considered and put in my "maybe in the future" pile but was not dead-set on completing my CFA at this point in time.

Hey everyone! So I have been learning GameMaker Studio (drag and drop and code) and writing ebooks outlining the step by step process to build these games. I remember teaching a video game creation camp to students 8-15 and they absolutely loved it. My guides are designed (or at least I tried to!) so that a child as young as 10-12 years old can pick up this ebook and build games with little to no outside help. I was severely neglected and physically abused growing up. To put this into perspective, I broke my leg in kindergarten, and my intoxicated mother dragged me about 2000 feet to the car. As a result of this, I developed post-traumatic stress disorder at a young age. I was not taught to bathe myself and was ruthlessly bullied (due to cystic acne, body odor, terrible teeth, etc). Over time, I completely regressed into myself and disassociated from reality. I became extremely paranoid that people were whispering about how disgusting I was. This became so bad that I would perspire excessively and harm myself (mainly by ripping off pieces of my skin and cutting). Eventually, I started to disassociate whenever another human being spoke to me. In other words, when people talk to me (anybody). I stop being present and regress into a fog-like state. While the person is talking, I have traumatic flashbacks where people tell me to kill myself. I have been to multiple therapists over the course of my life, but I haven’t found any of them helpful. They tell me to challenge my thoughts and practice mindfulness, but whenever I try to confront my thoughts, I am overwhelmed with suicidal ideation. I also have a lot of trouble speaking to people one-on-one during conversations (real life and virtual), so I’m not really present or engaged during sessions. Has anybody experienced anything similar? Any guidance on what kind of help to seek? Don’t really know what to do at this point.

For any newer Venture X cardholders, don’t put off using your first annual travel credit as you may have less than a full year to do so. I only had 352 days and ended up losing it.
I learned the dumb way. I was approved for the card last June 15, and hadn’t been able to use the travel credit yet because well, life gets in the way. So knowing the anniversary was quickly approaching, this past Monday (June 5) I booked a hotel stay through the C1 Travel Portal to make sure I didn’t waste the benefit.
Unfortunately my thinking that I had 365 days to use the credit was completely wrong. I found out today that the annual fee had posted and the travel credit had already reset on June 2. Here I was thinking it’d reset somewhere around June 15 or June 17 (when the initial annual fee had posted). I plan on combing through the T&C for a proper definition of cardmember year because advancing the annual fee by two weeks and resetting an “annual” benefit seems a bit deceptive.
Three customer service reps (so far) were unable to deliver a resolution and I’m out a $300 benefit by a couple days.

Seeing the post asking about a local band reminded me of For Squirrels, the Gainesville band in the '90s that signed to a Sony label and was getting national radio play when a van accident killed two founding members and their tour manager. I never got the chance to see them, but their story just exemplified tragedy to me. Anyone else here know of them?

We noticed that the waiter who took our order carried a spoon in his shirt pocket. It seemed a little strange. When the waiter brought our water and cutlery, I noticed he also had a spoon in his shirt pocket. Then I looked around and saw that all the staff had spoons in their pockets. I've been playing DayZ for about a week and twice now I've had encounters in relatively low traffic areas. So these players had backpacks dropped nearby and had ghillie suits, so what they do is they lie around in the bush somewhere close to a village and... just do nothing for hours? Like literally just don't move till they see something? Killed both of those guys like that, one had absolutely god tier loot, a sniper rifle, night vision, the works, the other had full hazmat suit. Is this how people play the game? What is even meta now?

What's going on?

A recent Reddit policy change threatens to kill many beloved third-party mobile apps, making a great many quality-of-life features not seen in the official mobile app permanently inaccessible to users.
On May 31, 2023, Reddit announced they were raising the price to make calls to their API from being free to a level that will kill every third party app on Reddit, from Apollo to Reddit is Fun to Narwhal to BaconReader.
Even if you're not a mobile user and don't use any of those apps, this is a step toward killing other ways of customizing Reddit, such as Reddit Enhancement Suite or the use of the old.reddit.com desktop interface .
This isn't only a problem on the user level: many subreddit moderators depend on tools only available outside the official app to keep their communities on-topic and spam-free.

What's the plan?

On June 12th, many subreddits will be going dark to protest this policy. Some will return after 48 hours: others will go away permanently unless the issue is adequately addressed, since many moderators aren't able to put in the work they do with the poor tools available through the official app. This isn't something any of us do lightly: we do what we do because we love Reddit, and we truly believe this change will make it impossible to keep doing what we love.
The two-day blackout isn't the goal, and it isn't the end. Should things reach the 14th with no sign of Reddit choosing to fix what they've broken, we'll use the community and buzz we've built between then and now as a tool for further action.
What can you do?

1. Complain. Message the mods of /reddit.com, who are the admins of the site: message reddit: submit a support request: comment in relevant threads on /reddit, such as this one, leave a negative review on their official iOS or Android app- and sign your username in support to this post.

Please make every effort to be as restrained, polite, reasonable and law-abiding as possible. This includes not harassing moderators of subreddits who have chosen not to take part: no one likes a missionary, a used-car salesman, or a flame warrior.
   

In the moist soil surrounding a house, there are millions of these small beige moths that have taken over. They seem to be inhabiting the hedge in that area and are swarming at all hours of the day. Is there some easy solution to this that I should try before I take more extreme measures? I don't want to kill or stress the plants in my attempts to deal with the moths.
